We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jenny Klos a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenny, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My parents have always been a big influence throughout my childhood. I would be inspired with the work ethic that they showed in or household.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I have been doing hair and make up for over twenty years. So when my husband came up with the idea to create our own production company, it ignited this new passion in a profession I had been familiar with for a long time. Bringing our characters alive on screen is such a surreal thing to see.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities, skills or knowledge I would bestow would be. Be patient, don’t take everything to heart, and be creative. The advice I would give to someone who is early in their journey. Don’t limit yourself and always try the hard things in life. If somebody tells you you can’t. You turn it into a can. Don’t ever stop thinking outside of the box.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
The main person who helped me overcome my challenges was my mentor Alisha. She was always there if I were to fall back after pushing me to challenge myself. She inspires me still to this day.

so if you or someone you know deserves recognition please let us know here.
