We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jeremy Glover. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jeremy below.
Hi Jeremy, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.
I developed an ability to take risks by trial and error. You pretty much have to practice taking risks. And if financial system we practice to take calculated risk. Calculated risk defined by Webster dictionary is your risk that is estimated.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a wealth strategist, on one side of the Wealth firm we teach and show individuals how to properly plan their wealth. We perform a qualifications, fact finder’s, and proposals with the final analysis of your finances. From our analysis, we find the product that fits your lifestyle and budget. The most special part about this process is that we have the clients best interest at heart. When traditional financial firms sell products that only fits the firm compensation plan. We are able to build long lasting relationships with our wealth clients.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three most important qualities everybody should work on, is ethics, morals, and values. Believe ethics, morals, and values forms a persons beliefs. The dictionary defines ethics as the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group. For example, this is how you were brought up as a child your parents instilled different ethics. The Webster dictionary, defines morals as conforming to a standard of right behavior. What morals was instilled in you as a child? Value is defined as relative worth, utility, or importance. The best way to work on these three. Important qualities are getting up every day and determined to become the best version of yourself.
Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
A book that played a part an important role in the development would be “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. One of the most impactful nuggets was the power of the mastermind.
