Meet Jeremy Wang

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jeremy Wang. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Jeremy, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?
That is a very interesting question.

In the cleaning world, we haven’t come across many who are of the same age bracket and who look like us. As a result, we are able to provide a service that many need, and still stay in a niche while there are many competitors out there.

There are always other companies who may charge a lesser price, but we are confident that the quality of work, communication, and customer service far excels what others may offer, and that you will be getting good return on investment from using our cleaning and window washing services.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
We specialize in move-in/out cleanings + window washing only. It’s been a fast ten years since we started our business, and we are appreciative of all of the people who we have met and have helped us build bridges.

Most of our work lately comes from Real Estate agents we’ve cleaned for, or ones that were referred to us. It is an honor when they trust us to clean the homes they are going to put on the market. Apartment move-in/out cleaning is a bulk of our work also, and many local property management companies trust us with their many turnovers.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
We try our best to give people the best bang for their buck .

Honesty
Transparency
Hard Work

We may not always do things correctly the first time and at times we do have to go and touch up areas, but we stand by our work 100% and will not accept payment until the customer is fully satisfied.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The words found in the Bible help us in all aspects of our life, including our work life and we try to apply it’s principals as best as possible.

I appreciate how it has helped us to keep our moral values in the forefront while working.

Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you are doing, work at it whole-souled as for Jehovah, and not for men”

Hebrews 13:18- “We trust we have an honest conscience, as we wish to conduct ourselves honestly in all things.”

Bible principals also help us to keep a well rounded work-life balance:

Ecclesiastes 3:13- “Everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.”
Ecclesiastes 4:6- “Better is a handful of rest than two handfuls of hard work and chasing after the wind”
