Meet Jerri Bre Cameron

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jerri Bre Cameron a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jerri Bre, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
Honestly, I treat everyday like a new day. But if I was going to pinpoint where I would say my grandma Rosa; may she rest in peace. She was always positive force for me in my early years allowing me to be expressive. We’re from a small town in South Carolina, where you are taught to be self sufficient. I had to learn to be resourceful and take initiative because it wasn’t too many people who actually make it from there. I had to learn at an early age to be responsible due to the dynamic of my family life. I just keep her principles with me and remember nothing is too much to handle if God gave it to me as a task. She was a prayer warrior so I know she’s watching over me, proud.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
To start I’m eclectic; so expect diversity from me! In 2020; I made a mission to help 100 small to midsize businesses with my brand Real Time Gains Management LLC. Three years later… I think it’s safe to say I’ve successfully helped 25-30 and that’s hands on business development. The real question for my readers is how am I doing? Some of the brands I’ve worked with are making huge impact at all levels, locally, nationally and globally.

Right now Real Time Gains is on a Race 2 Zero carbon campaign with non-profit Trashy Bags Africa who’s partnered with the United Nations. It’s 2 missions, 1 race. Trashy Bags is converting voltic plastic water bags that started as waste on the beaches and streets of Africa into eco-friendly bags such as laptop cases, backpacks, satchels, tote bags. My goal is 10,000 bags donated to students across Africa!

On a creative side; I released a single “Gleamin”. You can find it on all streaming platforms. There’s more to come from me as it pertains to business and creativity.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Most important things to take with throughout your journey at any point:

1. Grace. You will find that you will be tried and tested. Don’t make a bad habit of stooping to other people’s level. State your peace and then leave it at that. You’ll be respected more when you carry yourself with grace.

2. Treat your brand how you would treat your job. Give some hours to it everyday until it turns full time. If you treat it like a hobby that’s exactly what it would be. It’s cause and effect; what you put in is what you get out.

3. Move at your own pace! Don’t let anyone pressure you when you’re not ready. I’m big on calculated risk. Not everything is going to be perfect or go your way all the time. But if you planned and set good intentions you will see results.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
Even with more to come; I’ve met and worked with my ideal clients. I love brands and people who are passionate about what they do. You can always tell because it’s the tempo at which they work. You never have to worry about calling them or the deliverables because they are eager to get the work done. Not only that; they are selfless. They’re thinking about others and the impact in which what we do today would impact the future. They understand the pace it takes to be around for the next 100 years. I would love to work with more international brands.
