Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jerry Rodriguez Photographer . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jerry Rodriguez , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Finding one’s purpose is a personal journey that can vary from person to person. I found that for me, it was about finding what I was good at. Reflecting on my skills, talents, and strengths. Your purpose may be closely tied to what you excel at. I love everything design, creativity and communication. Loved interacting with others, had love for photography, and was very creative. If you’re on the quest for your purpose, my advice is simple: think about how you can use your superpowers to sprinkle some good vibes on yourself and the world.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a lifestyle and portrait photographer with a soft spot for film and creative design, dabbling in both graphic and web design. My real thrill in photography comes from those moments when it all just naturally falls into place. Studios? Not really my scene. I’m all about that organic vibe, soaking in the beauty of natural light, and uncovering the wonders of the great outdoors. My playground is outside, and I’ve made it a habit to let my surroundings play a starring role in my work. Recently, I have launched, “Iktan Designs” a place where I offer affordable web designs for local shops. I also plan on doing a podcast soon!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
I prioritize doing what brings me joy, and fortunately, that’s a significant part of my life since I pursue my passions. When I sense overwhelm creeping in, my usual approach is to take a step back without overthinking things. Through life’s lessons, I’ve come to understand the value of accepting the process without constant questioning. Instead, I focus on incorporating activities that elevate my happiness, like spontaneous trips to a doughnut shop. It’s the small things that have the power to uplift my mood. My advice? Go get yourself a doughnut when you sense any stress creeping in.
