We were lucky to catch up with Jessica Diaz recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Jessica with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Definitely from my parents. Both of my parents came to this country with nothing and created something. I am the youngest out of 3. My sister being the oldest, took care of my brother and I while my parents worked their 9-5. Later on once my sister started her own adult life and began taking on financial responsibilities, then it was my brother’s turn to watch over me whenever he wasn’t in school. Finally, I began being dropped off with a baby sitter while my whole household was working and completing their studies. Growing up all I knew was to work hard and get my education. My siblings and I have always been get students who were always awarded in school for our academic achieves / college graduates. We have also been overachievers in our employments.

My name is Jessica but on social media I’m known as ” JESSSIIIBOOO”. My social media is focused on lifestyle however if you see my feed it’s more fashion based as where my stories, I post about my day to day life.
I began my own partnership with the company MONAT which focuses on hair, skin, and nails. I grew my own business within that partnership and teach top 3% which was the leadership rank, grew my own team of market partners, and had over 100 people as clientele. However what I took from that business wasn’t about how big my team was or how much money I made, nonetheless the skills and knowledge. I learned how marketing, promoting, get my face on camera, loose the fear of what people may think of me, money manage, contracts, the business language, and entrepreneurship which then lead me to create this whole brand behind JESSSIIIBOOO. Had my cousin not brought this network marketing opportunity to me in a time where I needed change and guidance, I’m not sure I’d accomplish everything I have with social media.
I’d like to say where I’m relatable to those who watch my journey is, I still work my 9-5 and as a matter of fact I work for the county. I still am living my dreams of attending red carpets, meeting people who we’ve all seen on TV or grew up listening to their music, attend grand openings, be contracted for photo shoots or music videos, or even have brand deals with clothing brands. I’m still waking up at 7am to clock into my job and still making my goals and dreams a reality.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The top 3 qualities:
1. Never take no for an answer.
Don’t be afraid of the word NO.
Every no is closer to a yes.
2. The power is in the follow up!
Stay consistent and on top of what it is that you want!
3. Always stay true yourself!
Social media could be a scary / toxic environment if you allow it to be!
Always remember you’re in control!
All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
The number one obstacle I am facing right now is the cliche terms of self love. It’s such an ironic thing to admit because on social media life seems picture perfect but that’s jesssiiibooo. Jesssiiibooo is the collaborator, hard worker, promoter, influencer, and social media brand. Outside of that world. Jessica is currently seeking therapy services twice a month to help overcome and heal rooted issues. One of the biggest lessons in life I have learned is you can’t pour from an empty cup. In order for jesssiiibooo to thrive, Jessica has to do the internal work.
