Meet Jessica Moreau

We recently connected with Jessica Moreau and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I’m first generation American, my parents are European, and their work ethic and grit was very influential. My mom has so much energy and endurance, she could multitask and manage so much at once and I never saw her sit down. I am ambitious in nature as well and my list is always longer than the hours in the day. Luckily, I’m addicted to the rewarding sense of accomplishment and the process of creation and completion keeps me going.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Located in the Iconic Red Rocks of Sedona, AZ I believe in living artfully, intentionally and inquisitively. I think creating sensory spaces can elevate the human experience. When founding my Boutique, Full-Service Interior Design Studio 12 years ago, I remain passionate about creating soulful, inviting spaces that foster well- being. Methodical and holistic in our approach, I aim to cultivate interiors that are grounded and effortless, elegant yet understated. Always one of a kind, the results are soulful spaces designed for well-being.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

This is a second career for me after a career in marketing and PR. I worked for a large firm out of design school learning everything I could and making great connections. I earned my LEED AP early on after my university studies at Arizona State University and New York School of Interior Design to advance my offerings. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit so when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I decided I wanted to take the leap of faith to create a career that had a life-first approach. Some great advice I received early on once from meeting Barbara Barry was work for someone you admire, even for free, to learn everything you can from someone you respect. In the design industry, having first-hand experience with problem solving and real-world challenges is nothing they can teach you in school.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
