Meet Jessica Salas

We recently connected with Jessica Salas and have shared our conversation below.

Jessica, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Before I became an energy healer, I was a pharmacist for 23 years. During that time, I learned that there is so much more to healing than chemistry, because countless patients came to me on so many medications, most of which only helped with symptoms, not the root cause of their ailments. In many cases, they ended up on more medications to combat the side effects of the original ones. For example, people with chronic pain are on pain medications. These medications help with pain, but are they helping to treat the cause of pain? People with anxiety take medications that help the symptoms of their anxiety, but again, these medications do not treat the cause of their anxiety. This became my mission and purpose: to help people break free from the cycle of symptom management and embrace true healing from within.

My transformation from pharmacist to energy healer…
I was truly disheartened by seeing patient after patient on multiple medications, just getting sicker, and needing even more medications. Toward the end of my pharmacy career, I began looking and hoping to find another way to help people.
I remembered back to when I was 8 years old, and my mother took me to energy healing classes. I learned energy healing through meditation, intention, and visualization. I eventually lost sight of these skills as I grew up, and I became a pharmacist. I scoured the web looking for this energy healing modality, but I couldn’t find it.
So I decided to start my own healing journey, knowing that healing had to start with me. I stopped drinking alcohol, caffeine, and fake sugars. I began exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, and embraced gratitude as a way to help me become more positive.
One day while I was watching Gaia TV, I came across an interview with Dr. Bradley Nelson, the creator of my energy healing modalities, the Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code. He was talking about Heart-Walls, and how negative energy that is wrapped around the heart can prevent someone from connecting with their loved ones and with themselves, leaving them feeling disconnected, like they are always on the outside looking in. And I thought, I have always felt that way. I need to hire someone to remove my Heart-Wall. Then, I sat straight up and said, “Hold on, I want to learn to do that MYSELF!!” And the rest is history. I resigned from my position as the Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor, got certified, and opened my energy healing practice!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

What is energy healing?
Emotional baggage and past trauma disrupt our lives, and cause stress, anxiety, anguish, and even pain. I specialize in releasing layers upon layers of emotional baggage and unprocessed past trauma. Some of the most common things people report when these layers are released are feeling lighter, calmer, and more peaceful.
I like to use the analogy of a castle to describe my energy healing process. Using chronic back pain as an example, first, I release resistance, which is the moat and drawbridge of the castle. This contains layers of emotional baggage and past trauma which block me from the core issue of back pain. For example, worthlessness, shame, or subconscious self-limiting beliefs such as “I don’t deserve to heal and be happy and healthy.”
Second, I energetically look at the castle, or body, and ask if any parts of the body need help and are causing the back pain. This is where I use my knowledge as a pharmacist, by energetically taking a look at the pathophysiology of the issue. For example, I would check to see if there is any emotional baggage and past trauma I need to release from the back muscles, spine, spinal cord, spinal cord discs, and nerves.
Third, I look for deeper layers underneath the issue, like the dungeon in the castle. For example, I would check for any vows of suffering that were taken in past lives or in this current life. Using soul healing, I first release you from these vows, and then with energy healing, I release the emotional baggage and past trauma which caused you to take these vows. As you can imagine, vows of suffering have a huge impact on pain!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Motivation, absorption, and integration are three qualities and skills that have been, and still are, most impactful on my journey. I have been told that I have a gift to absorb, just like a sponge, everything I learn from others, and integrate it into my energy healing and practice. Motivation helps me to “just get it done,” no matter how far I am out of my comfort zone. When I began my energy healing practice, I joined a mastermind group to help get my practice up and running. I did every single thing my coach suggested to build my practice, no matter how long it took, or how hard it was. I also connected with many energy healers in the mastermind group. I began absorbing as much as I could from them to deepen and expand my skills and abilities as an energy healer. During that year, there were many months that I spent over 60 hours per week, absorbing everything I could and then integrating it into my energy healing and practice.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

My ideal clients believe in alternative medicine, and know that there are many ways to heal other than solely relying on Western medicine. My ideal clients are also empaths. As the emotional baggage and past trauma layers are released during sessions, it is incredibly meaningful and amazing when my clients feel the energy moving and leaving their bodies. My ideal client is motivated and willing to take the time to make healing a top priority. I often assign homework which goes hand in hand with energy healing. My clients who do their homework with an open heart experience transformation more quickly than those who do not do their homework. My ideal clients are also open-minded and curious. Past life and soul discovery and healing are not only powerful, but also provide insight into this current life.
