Meet Jeuron Wilson

We recently connected with Jeuron Wilson and have shared our conversation below.

Jeuron, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I initially found my purpose in Elementary when I auditioned to be Mowgli in the Jungle Book and got the role. I was only 8 or 9 at the time, but being able to find a way to inherit a character was always fun and fascinating to me. I enjoyed being able to do something out of the ordinary and it’s always fun to be able to do something new.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a Japanese American Actor and Model in Durham, North Carolina! Acting is very special to me because it is like a warp into a whole new world. You get to play new characters, challenge yourself physically and psychologically, learn new things in terms of how to sing, dance, etc. It also allows me to be able to at times travel to places I’ve never been and see the world a bit while doing what I love. I’ve just started making a move into modeling, it started when Jeremy Quinn, the founder of Saint Amour Collections found me in a food lion randomly and asked if I ever was interested in modeling. I was interested and then modeled for his suit company and I actually enjoyed trying on the outfits and modeling for them as well!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three qualities I have with me is Faith, Persistence and being Humble. I feel like these qualities really keep you level headed but yet has will continue to motivate you to keep pushing. I know a lot of people have these dreams and don’t take the leap because they don’t want to be judged or just holding the fear that it won’t work. I personally think if you know what you want to do in life and whenever you daydream about doing it for the rest of your life you smile and you just feel good. That’s when you take a chance and give it a shot, because it’s nothing worse than looking back wishing you would’ve done it.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

If I were to choose one of my impactful things my father has done for me, it would be that he believes in my dreams much as I do.
