Meet Jeurys Santiago

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jeurys Santiago. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Jeurys , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

My work ethic is deeply rooted in my upbringing and the example set by my parents. Growing up, I watched them work tirelessly with resilience and dedication to provide for our family and build a better future. They taught me the value of hard work, persistence, and integrity—not just through their words but through their actions. Their unwavering commitment to their responsibilities and the pride they took in their work inspired me to adopt the same mindset in everything I do. They are my greatest role models and the foundation of the drive and determination I carry with me today.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am the founder and CEO of Minds with Purpose, a community-driven consultancy dedicated to empowering businesses and individuals to reach their full potential. My work focuses on creating tailored solutions that combine branding, marketing, and operations to help organizations thrive. What sets Minds with Purpose apart is our deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We aim to uplift multicultural communities and provide a platform where creativity, innovation, and connection can flourish.

What excites me most about what I do is witnessing the transformative impact we have on our clients and the communities we serve. Whether it’s helping a small business clarify its vision, hosting workshops for youth, or organizing events that celebrate culture and entrepreneurship, every project is an opportunity to create meaningful change.

Recently, I’ve been focused on expanding Minds with Purpose by hosting large-scale events like the MWP Festival, which combines education, culture, health, and advocacy into a three-day celebration. We’re also introducing programs that provide mentorship, career readiness, and personal development to young professionals, emphasizing leadership and social impact.

I’m particularly excited about creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and supported, whether that’s through a dynamic networking event, a collaborative workshop, or a one-on-one coaching session. As an entrepreneur, my mission is to leave a legacy of empowerment and opportunity, especially for underrepresented communities.

To anyone looking to grow their brand or make a difference, my message is simple: Surround yourself with purpose-driven people, embrace lifelong learning, and never underestimate the power of your voice to spark change.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Resilience
Life and business are full of challenges, and resilience has been crucial for pushing through tough times. I’ve learned that setbacks are just stepping stones if you choose to see them that way. For those early in their journey, I recommend practicing self-reflection and building a support system that lifts you up during hard times. Remember, failure is often a prerequisite for success.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
Understanding and connecting with people has been at the core of everything I do. Whether it’s collaborating with a team, building relationships with clients, or hosting events, EQ has helped me navigate different perspectives and create meaningful connections. To develop this skill, I suggest being a better listener, practicing empathy, and staying curious about others’ experiences.
Strategic Thinking
Knowing how to think critically and plan effectively has been a game-changer. It’s not just about having big ideas but about executing them thoughtfully and with impact. For those starting out, I encourage learning how to break your goals into actionable steps and surrounding yourself with mentors who can offer guidance and insight.
My advice for anyone beginning their journey is to focus on progress, not perfection. Be open to learning from every experience, embrace mentorship, and invest in personal development. With patience and determination, you’ll build the foundation for long-term success.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I am always open to collaborating and partnering with like-minded individuals and organizations! I believe that great things happen when diverse talents come together with a shared vision.

I’m particularly looking to collaborate with entrepreneurs, community leaders, creatives, and organizations that are committed to making a positive impact, especially those who focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Whether you’re involved in education, youth empowerment, cultural initiatives, or social impact, I’m interested in building partnerships that foster growth, creativity, and community development.

If you’re passionate about creating meaningful change, advancing social justice, or empowering others, let’s connect! Feel free to reach out to me through my LinkedIn or email. I’m excited about the possibility of joining forces to build something impactful that serves our communities and uplifts diverse voices.

Together, we can make a lasting difference!
