Jhonny , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I realized that I wanted more. I wasn’t content staying in the same position—I knew I had the potential to grow and do something bigger. I wanted to create, to make an impact, and to challenge myself beyond what I was already doing. That drive pushed me to find my true purpose and take action to achieve it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Well, right now, I’m running a photo booth business in Dallas, Texas, providing services for all kinds of parties. This isn’t my first business, I started another one before, which helped me discover what I truly enjoy. Through this journey, I realized that I’m not the kind of person who can stay in one place or do the same thing for too long. I prefer to keep moving, exploring different areas, and constantly growing.

I also discovered that I love meeting new people. When I meet someone new, I enjoy listening to their experiences, the way they talk, and their expressions because I learn from others. In both this business and my previous one, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with so many different people while doing something I love.

Of course, there are tough moments, nothing is always perfect, but I truly enjoy what I do. Every event feels like a new experience for me, and I embrace that excitement and enthusiasm as if it were my first event every time.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been communication skills, charisma, and language. Communication is everything in this business, how you speak, how you make clients feel comfortable, and how you connect with them matters. From the moment you shake someone’s hand, you start transmitting your energy, and that first impression sets the tone for the entire interaction.

Charisma is just as important. People remember how you make them feel, and having a warm, engaging presence helps build trust and strong relationships. Lastly, language has played a huge role. Being able to communicate with different people, whether in English or another language, opens more opportunities and helps me connect with a wider audience.

For those just starting out, my advice is to practice these skills every day. Work on the way you speak, be confident in your interactions, and always aim to make people feel valued. Charisma isn’t just about being outgoing, it’s about being genuine and truly listening to others. And if you can, learn another language; it can take you further than you imagine. Knowledge is important, but how you present yourself and connect with people is what will truly set you apart.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

I chose this question and ignored the others because I truly felt connected to it. I believe the area where I’ve grown and improved the most is in following and seeking Jesus more. Before, I didn’t have this mindset, but over the past 12 months, that has completely changed.

I’ve drawn closer to Jesus and learned to be more grateful for everything, the experiences, the journey, the successes, and the knowledge I’ve gained. This interview, everything I have, and everything I’ve achieved is all thanks to God. Without Him, we are nothing; everything is because of Him.

I’ve also learned that nothing truly belongs to me, I am just a steward of what God has entrusted to me because everything belongs to Him.
