Meet Jiajia Wang

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jiajia Wang. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Jiajia, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I am Jiajia Wang, founder of Dundu.n international, an nyc based fashion PR: event planning agency. Our client included Flowerknows, Halara, OQQ sports, Lacemade, etc.As a professional pr and fashion brand consultant, I have achieved many successful photo shootings, runway shows, co branding collaborations etc. the most confident part of each project are always first, when client agree to collaborate and give a positive comment of our plans second, when the project successfully finished. I think my confidence come from a kind of satisfaction from the work and everyone surrounding me is happy

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I grow up in mainland China, and came to US when I was 18 years old.before I started my own company I had a deep study about fashion knowledge at my college time. I studied fashion management BA at FIT and same program of master degree in Parsons school of design. While during the school time and the part time work/ interns experience both in US and China not only help me get knowledge of the industry but also gained me a good net working of the people. With this multicultural background,I started my own fashion Consulting agency after one year I graduate from master degree which can help fashion brand from all over the world gain an image in US/ China

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1.communication skills, efficient communication between my coworkers and clients is definitely the key to make everyone life easier. From my experience a lot of successful artists or designers, they are very introverted with lots of ideas but can not express it very well, most of time with my background of studying and experiences I can always convert their words to coworkers
2.time management. Event though this does not sounds like a very hard work, but PR works always consist of thousands of subtle ideas and voices, a good time management manner helped me a lot
3. Good memories, I can remember basically everything I experienced, people I met, things happened etc helped my both working skills also make my daily life easier

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

Both of my parents are business owners. I think since my little their different perspective toward every single things and both of them are super hard to be frustrated. Those two parts influenced me the most
