Meet Jiaming Ju

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jiaming Ju. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jiaming below.

Jiaming, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

When people ask me how I found my purpose, I tell them it started with anger. At the time, I was working as a Health Economist, one of the very few women in a field dominated mostly by men. I was deeply invested in longevity research, and shifting into Traditional Chinese Medicine was the last thing on my mind.

Then one day, I came across a company online doing Gua Sha completely wrong. The owner had no background or training in Chinese medicine at all. It made me so mad that I called my father to rant. But instead of agreeing with me, he calmly said, “You’re not allowed to be mad. You have nothing to do with Chinese medicine.”

That sentence stopped me. It stunned me but also awakened something in me. That when I turned my anger into action and stepped fully into my path as a TCM practitioner.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Known for my viral celebrity tongue readings, I’m deeply committed to continuing my father’s legacy of healing. My father, Ying Ju, has spent decades in northeastern China mastering Traditional Chinese Medicine, and everything I do is built on the foundation he created.

Together, we blend traditional herbal wisdom with modern insight to make Chinese medicine accessible to the Western world in a new, viral, and relatable way. Our goal is to offer real options that go beyond expensive modern healthcare and far beyond supplements that only act as temporary fixes.

Recently, in addition to the custom herbal treatments we offer, we launched my family’s formula for anemia, Blood Tonic. To help those struggling with the symptoms of Anemia and to heal their digestion at the root of the problem. We are always looking for ways to take TCM further and reach more people who need options.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My background in longevity and health economics shapes how I practice TCM today. I’m direct, and I go straight to the root, whether I’m talking to someone or treating them. Understanding the gaps in healthcare for women and minorities pushed me to use TCM as a bridge between my past career and my purpose now.

Based from my experience, what I’ve learned is simple. Your path can change, but your skills will follow. And when your work aligns with your passion, especially one tied to your family or culture, everything falls into place.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

The biggest obstacle I face in TCM right now is there are a lot of misconceptions, a lot of confusions to Chinese medicine. People question the formulas, the process, the effectiveness.

Unlike Western medicine, which often just suppresses symptoms, TCM is about empowering your body to heal. So I use social media and key partnerships to spread about what TCM really is. I collaborate with brands like A’pothekary and Yina, who understand this modern approach. I address the myths, I share viral tongue readings to introduce people to TCM in a way that feels accessible, especially for minorities that should have access to health care that addresses the root
