Meet Jiggly Senpai

We were lucky to catch up with Jiggly Senpai recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jiggly , thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.

Overcoming imposter syndrome feels more like an ongoing battle than a permanent victory. Right now, I’m winning more than I’m losing, and a big part of that is my tribe—people who believe in me when my own confidence falters, who challenge me to grow and support me through my missteps. I’ve also learned to recognize and celebrate my own accomplishments, understanding that I’ve earned every part of where I am and every step ahead.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a creative professional with a background in fashion design, operations management, pole dancing, and content creation. My work ranges from performing in inclusive, body-positive shows to managing events that celebrate diversity. I also host Senpai & Frennns, an interview podcast where I dive into the stories and work of my guests, creating a space for them to share their unique perspectives and passions.

Recently, I’ve expanded into gaming and live streaming, connecting with a community through our shared love of gaming, cosplay, and wellness. On top of that, I’m thrilled to be putting out a merch line soon! It’s been a journey of balancing my creative pursuits with operational expertise, and I’m excited about projects that bring these passions together in meaningful ways.”

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three qualities have had the biggest impact on my journey: resilience, creativity, and adaptability. Resilience has been essential—life throws curveballs, but I’ve learned that winning is just never quitting. The journey itself is the victory, and pushing forward is what really counts.

Creativity has always come naturally, but art school and working in operations taught me how to apply it quickly and efficiently. My advice for others is to keep nurturing what you’re good at, even if it’s just a hobby. Whether or not it becomes a career, doing what makes you happy feeds your soul, and we all need that balance.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my mother did for me was give me the freedom to be my creative self. She encouraged me to explore, imagine, and dream—always making me feel that my dreams were valid. I was allowed to change my mind, try new things, and was encouraged every step of the way. Her support truly fostered my creativity and gave me the confidence to embrace who I am.
