Meet Jill Rosen

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jill Rosen. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jill below.

Jill, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

I don’t think you ever completely overcome imposter syndrome; it’s more like learning to walk alongside it instead of letting it block your path. For me, the real game changer was shifting my focus from my own insecurities to the people I’m here to help. Because, at the end of the day, it’s not really about me; it’s about being there for someone else who’s struggling. When I center my efforts on making even a small difference in someone’s day, it reinforces that what I’m doing matters—that’s how I keep those doubts at bay and keep pushing forward.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As an acupuncturist with nearly two decades of experience, I have consistently highlighted the crucial role of gut health. My own health challenges, including SIBO, have not only reinforced this understanding but have also illuminated how directly our gut health affects our skin and overall hormone balance—especially as we age. The gut is integral to processing hormones and toxins, directly impacting our skin’s elasticity and complexion, as well as regulating hormones that affect everything from mood swings to energy levels. This connection is particularly vital for women over 40, as changes in hormone levels and skin condition can significantly impact our confidence and self-perception.
Inspired to take my message to a broader audience, I’ve turned to the online world where I can connect with and support more people. On this journey, I’m dedicated to sharing both my experiences and the latest discoveries in gut and skin health. By recently beginning to document my journey online and foster an online community, I aim to make the often isolating path of health challenges feel more supported and interactive ensuring no one has to face these challenges alone.
In addressing the financial aspects of health care, I’ve learned firsthand how daunting the costs can be and the critical importance of maintaining financial flexibility. This awareness has motivated me to integrate the practical financial advice that I’m continually learning with vital health tips. My aim is to provide a comprehensive support system that not only combines health strategies with financial tips but also highlights the necessity of having financial buffers in place. This includes exploring ways to enhance financial flexibility and create additional streams of income—essential safeguards for those whose primary income may not suffice to cover unexpected health-related expenses or for those seeking greater financial security in midlife.

Whether you’re grappling with gut health issues, seeking to improve your skin’s health as you age, or looking to boost your overall well-being, my focus is particularly on supporting women in midlife. I understand how crucial it is to have access to extra resources during this pivotal time. I’m here to help us build financial security, so that health issues don’t put a dent in our savings. My aim is to offer tips and support that are both practical and empowering, ensuring that unexpected health challenges don’t lead to financial worries. Together, we can thrive physically and financially, ready to enjoy our best years with confidence and stability.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Empathy:
Impact: Empathy has been the cornerstone of my ability to connect with people and understand their needs deeply, whether addressing physical ailments or financial concerns. It has helped me tailor my approach to suit individual circumstances and provide more meaningful support.
Advice: For those early in their journey, I recommend actively practicing empathy by listening intently to others’ experiences and perspectives.

2. Continuous Learning:
Impact: The health and financial fields are ever-evolving, and staying updated with the latest research and trends has been essential. This ongoing education has kept me informed as well as adaptable.
Advice: Cultivate a habit of lifelong learning. Subscribe to relevant journals, attend workshops and seminars. The more you learn, the more valuable your contributions can become.

3. Resilience:
Impact: Throughout my career, resilience has allowed me to navigate challenges, from health issues like SIBO to the hurdles of building a business. This quality has helped me maintain focus and drive, even during setbacks.
Advice: Develop resilience by setting clear goals and maintaining a positive outlook. Surround yourself with a supportive network, and don’t be afraid to seek help when needed. Also, practicing mindfulness and stress management techniques can bolster your resilience.
