Hi Jimmy , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I really focused on pursuing my passions and working on projects I enjoyed. I am very grateful I have been able to turn some of my favorite things into my job! I always believe in myself and visualize where I want to end up all while enjoying everything along the journey. I have a very optimistic attitude because I know if you really work hard at something you love, nothing is out of reach.

I kicked off my adventure into content creation with my account @jimmybigmuscles, capturing the essence of my family’s Italian traditions. It was a video of us making wine that really took off and honestly, that’s when I knew I’d found my special spot in Italian content! I’ve been on this incredible journey, growing my follower base to a little over 300,000 across Instagram and TikTok. It’s been a wild ride, filled with hosting cooking shows on CBS, appearing in Italian pop stars’ music videos, and collaborating with some big names like Warner Bros., HBO, Lavazza, Barilla, and even Swiffer. I also have met a ton of great friends along the way in NYC @growingupitalian.
The experience of building my own brand has been a game-changer, and I’ve been taking everything I’ve learned to help small businesses shine on social media. Leading a marketing agency that boosts their social presence is something I’m really proud of.
I also am a DJ. I’ve been spinning tracks for over seven years at nightclubs, bars, private events, proms, and weddings. It’s a ton of fun and another way I get to connect with people.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reflecting on my journey, authenticity, networking, and creativity were the key pillars of my success. For anyone just starting, embrace your unique story, build genuine connections in your niche, and constantly innovate with your content. Most importantly be passionate and love what you do!
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My parents have been the most helpful people in my life, consistently encouraging me to pursue my passions. They have shaped my character, instilling in me the value of determination, hard work, and confidence. I know they’ll always be supporting me.
