Meet Jinna Ramirez

We recently connected with Jinna Ramirez and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jinna, thank you so much for agreeing to open up about a sensitive and personal topic like being fired or laid-off. Unfortunately, there has been a rise in layoffs recently and so your insight and experience with overcoming being let go is relevant to so many in the community.

Being laid off from a job allowed me to grow in ways I didn’t think I could, sometimes occurrences like these are blessings in disguise because it pushes you to overcome your limits. When you are left with nothing but working your way up again, it pushes you to show up everyday no matter what and this has allowed me to be able to be a business owner to my dream spa.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m Jinna Ramirez and I am from Venezuela, I moved to the states seven years ago. The transition of moving was scary but I clung reaching my dreams and my passions. I’m constantly inspired which allows my creativity to flow into ideas. I’m currently a med spa owner which fulfills me, being able to see my clients skin transform. Every single client not only leaves with a healthier skin appearance but also with a confidence boost.

After being open for less then a year, I was able to partner up with one my dream companies Hydrafacial. Bringing this new service in has allowed me to grow my cliente in ways I couldn’t even imagine. To anyone reading this, never stop learning and growing.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three qualities that were impactful in journey were discipline, motivation and being an optimistic person. These three things push you to keep going even on the days you do not feel like getting up. Success isn’t a road for the weak so its important to keep in mind that everything good takes time, believe in yourself and the universe will reward you.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

The book that transformed my life is called “Padre Rico Padre Pobre” it shows you that financial education is key to financial freedom. It shows you the importance to create passive income , your mindset plays an important role on creating the life of your dreams.
