Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jody L Teiche. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Jody L, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
A: Honestly, it found me.
It was 1989, and I was standing in a public library in Chappaqua, NY, with my toddler at my feet, when two books jumped out at me—one on medicinal plants and one on homeopathy. I reached for the latter, started reading, and something clicked. Not a gentle nudge, but a deep, visceral knowing: This is what I’m meant to do.
That was my doorway into the healing arts—and the beginning of my lifelong fascination with how the body, when supported, knows how to heal itself.
At first, I devoured everything I could on homeopathy. I practiced on friends and family (with wins that lit me up!). But it was my daughter’s ear infection on a trip to Florida that truly cemented it for me. Instead of antibiotics, I used a carefully selected homeopathic remedy. After one night of dosing, her fever broke. By morning, she was back to her playful self. She never had another ear infection again. That moment was magic—but it was also biology, energy, and intention working together.
Years later, after a long career running a celebrity PR firm, raising my daughter, and doing everything but truly tending to myself, I hit a wall. I left it all behind and rebooted my life. I went back to school—first for fashion design, then to become a certified health coach, pet nutritionist, and homeopathic educator.
What I discovered, first in myself and then in the people and pets I now coach, is this:
When you rebalance the gut, master the mind, and nourish the immune system, something extraordinary happens. Your body responds. Your energy returns. And the real you—vibrant, youthful, grounded—gets to come home again.
That’s my purpose: to help others find their way back to themselves.
And I’m just getting started.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I help people and pets age in reverse.
That may sound unbelievable—but it’s grounded in science, biology, and belief.
Through my Think and Grow Young™ Method and health coaching practice, I teach a 3-pillar approach to vitality that helps recalibrate the gut, rewire the mind, and reignite the immune system. My clients often come to me exhausted, inflamed, and overwhelmed—having tried everything. What makes my work so special is watching them come back to life. Not just feeling better, but reconnecting with joy, sensuality, and a sense of possibility they thought they lost.
As a certified health coach, homeopathic educator, and certified pet nutritionist, I work holistically. That means I don’t just look at symptoms—I help uncover the root causes and guide clients (human and animal) toward lasting, natural healing.
What I find most exciting is that we’re learning how changeable we really are. Our microbiome can transform. Our thoughts can build new neural pathways. And our nervous system, when given the right support, will choose healing every time. The science of self-healing is not only real—it’s accessible.
This year, I launched my book Think and Grow Young: The Life-Changing Program to Reverse Aging, Live Vibrantly, and Reclaim Your Youth. I’m also working on a high-touch 12-week course that takes the book’s teachings deeper—with tools, support, and community—for those ready to make this their turning point to turning back the clock.
At the core of what I do is this:
Aging isn’t the end of something—it can be the beginning.
You are not too old. It is not too late.
And you’re more powerful than you’ve ever been told.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. Deep Curiosity.
I’ve always been endlessly curious—about how things work, especially the human (and animal) body, mind, and spirit. That curiosity led me down the rabbit hole of homeopathy, energy medicine, gut health, quantum biology, and more. I didn’t come from a medical background, but I followed what lit me up—and I studied deeply. My advice? Let curiosity lead you. Follow the nudges. Stay open. You don’t have to know it all. Just keep asking better questions.
2. The Willingness to Do the Inner Work.
It’s one thing to study the science. It’s another to look in the mirror and say, “Where am I still carrying old beliefs that are aging me?” Learning to release the emotional baggage we’ve been dragging around—anger, shame, overwhelm—was life-changing. I had to go first so I could guide others. If you’re just beginning, don’t underestimate the power of nervous system regulation, breathwork, and releasing stored emotion. It’s not fluffy—it’s foundational.
3. The Ability to Connect the Dots.
I’ve spent decades connecting the dots between symptoms and systems, between what we think and how we heal, between emotions and biology. When you can zoom out and see the whole picture, true healing begins. My advice here? Start learning how the body works together—not in isolated parts. And don’t be afraid to look outside the box. Sometimes the answers come from a place you wouldn’t expect—like the whisper of your own intuition.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes—I’m very open to meaningful collaborations, especially with professionals and organizations who recognize that healing takes a whole-person (and whole-pet) approach.
I’m particularly looking to partner with:
Doctors and Integrative Health Practitioners who want to offer more comprehensive support to their patients but may not have the time or bandwidth to go deeper into the day-to-day coaching work. I support their existing wellness plans—providing hands-on, personalized guidance to help patients follow through, integrate changes, and truly heal.
Veterinarians and Holistic Pet Clinics who need a trusted partner to help educate pet parents on natural approaches to healing, nutrition, and emotional well-being for their animals. I’m a certified pet nutritionist, trained health coach for pets, and homeopathic educator—so I understand the science, the energetics, and the real-life support pet parents need to follow through.
Businesses and Organizations that want to support their teams in becoming healthier, more focused, and more resilient—because healthy employees are happier, more productive, and more engaged. I offer gut-brain-immune-centered wellness coaching that’s practical, empowering, and results-driven.
Whether it’s people, pets, or teams—I bring a unique mix of science, soul, and strategic coaching to help them thrive.
