We recently connected with Joe Stuckey and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Joe, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

Taking calculated risk is an absolute necessity.  I’ve been able to learn over time that life is what we embrace outside of our comfort zones.  I grew up in a very small town where possibilities seemed limited at best.  I was an introverted extrovert.  Shyer than most.  I was Black, Gay, and loved fashion.  Things that at most times didn’t seem favorable.  It was more than necessary for my journey of Self Love to begin.  I’ve grown closer to God and Love sharing his blessings.  While I’m humanly flawed,  I Love the man he’s molded me into.
Every decision I make has to be strategic.  When you operate from a space of desiring to be and do better, you quickly realize that will never happen being complacent.  I can’t let suffering from depression hold me back.  I have to wake up each day and decide to have the best day I can.  Some days are much harder than others and I don’t always win the fight.  Its not an option to let being the sole caregiver for a love one with Dementia stop me from moving forward.  I can’t stop promoting my business in telling my story because I’m busy navigating a world that does not always exist with someone I Love as I’m literally watching them deteriorate over time.
I pray first, focus on what’s needed and take action whether I fully have a plan or not.

My line is called

His Heart Love – Inspire Connect Unite.

His Heart Love focuses on God’s Love and how through him we can Inspire Connect & Unite. I’m INSPIREd by Fashion, We CONNECT over Food & Music is a universal UNITEr. My brand offers items like our GOD IS AN ARTIST hoodie. This piece speaks to the amazing creations from God which include you and I. We also have our Butterfly Inspiration piece that focuses on the beauty of individuality. We offer our I AM Love Affirmation items. Doing popup shops and other selling initiatives led me to creating a space that I thought would be ideal for popup events. In comes our new venture The Curated Static Marketplace. We choose 10 vendors who are interrupting your normal day to day with amazing products and services. We gather for our quarterly Marketplace Event. It includes A DJ,, a diverse roster of vendors and cocktails. Our next event is February 10th 2024. SAVE THE DATE!! We purposely chose the month that simultaneously celebrates Love & Black History. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Resilience, determination and operating from a space of Love. In life there is no way to function without these key items. My advice would be to always be a person of integrity. Be honest. Be the best you that you can be and to always be learning. If you’re alive then you don’t know everything. Be teachable and be present.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’d like to collaborate with like minded invidiuals. People that see the opportunities to better the world and act on that. I’d love to connect with creatives period. Models, Designers, hairstylist, makeup artists, jewelers, miliners, Stylist, producers, movie execs., writers etc. I’d love help expanding my business reach and gaining new clients. I’d love to collect more capital to expand. If it’s a blessing and you can facilitate it, bring it on!
