Hi Johnene, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I developed my confidence and self esteem by doing the hard things and not giving up in the midst of a trial or challenging moment. Facing adversity will increase your confidence and help you achieve your goals.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think 3 of the most important qualities is being kind and treating people with respect, always be willing to learn more about your craft, and understanding how to show up/navigate whatever season you’re in.
Early in your journey it’s important to network and find other individuals who are doing what you want to do. Learn from them and always be willing to pitch in and help if ever they need a hand with anything pertaining to the profession
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was teach me about God, how to have a relationship with him and how to have faith trusting his plan.
