We were lucky to catch up with Joi Schweitzer recently and have shared our conversation below.
Joi, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
For me, my purpose is my calling. It’s not something one would chase out there somewhere; it’s an assignment. A legacy. An eternal destiny that’s been written into the person from the very beginning. I didn’t wake up one day and stumble into mine, it was revealed in layers, often through dreams, disappointment, and seasons I didn’t understand at the time.
I learned that purpose is the very thing that refuses to leave you alone. It’s a gentle nudge that keeps pulling on your spirit, a vision that seems bigger than you! And when you finally surrender to it and start walking boldly in your purpose, that’s when life begins to align! That’s when every setback starts to make sense, and you land your dream with confidence!
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I wear a few hats — literally and figuratively. I’m an airline pilot, keynote speaker, mentor to women around the world, and the founder of RIDE HIGH — a lifestyle brand created to help people defy gravity, navigate turbulence, and land their God-given dreams! Everything I do is rooted in transformation! My mission is to help people master themselves through the art of self-mastery — because when you master YOU, you can lead, build, create, and rise in every other area of your life.

At the end of the day, RIDE HIGH is a movement. It’s about audacious living, rising above limits, and becoming everything you were created to be!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, I’d say three qualities have shaped everything about my journey: resilience, discipline, and audacious faith.
For anyone early in their journey, start by strengthening your mindset and guarding your belief! What you think about yourself will always shape what you’re capable of becoming! Resilience grows when you stop running from hard things and see every challenge as strength training. Discipline is built in the small, consistent actions you take every day, so start with simple, non-negotiable goals and keep showing up.
And when it comes to faith, invite God into every part of the process! But most importantly enjoy the process! Believe big and act like it’s already on the way. If you can master your mind, stay consistent, and lead with faith, you’ll be prepared to thrive once you get there!

Yes! I’m absolutely looking to collaborate…I’m most excited to partner with brands and people who are purpose-driven — those who care about creating impact.
