Meet Jolana Nika

We were lucky to catch up with Jolana Nika recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jolana, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

Resilience isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something life forges in you. For me, it started long before I became a coach, a mentor, or even knew what wellness meant. It began in childhood, where nothing came easy, and where every step forward felt like a small victory against the odds.

Over time, the challenges I faced became my training ground. They shaped my mindset, my drive, and my belief that no matter how tough things get, there’s always a way through.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves through wellness, connection, and community. Right now, I’m building experiences that reflect that—events, wellness parties, retreats, and an online community where people can grow together. I’m also committed to philanthropic work, especially creating opportunities for kids who aren’t as fortunate. Collaboration is a big part of this vision—I want to work with brands and vendors who share the same passion for wellness, health, and making a real impact.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

For me, the three most impactful qualities were:
1. Resilience – The ability to get back up no matter how many times life knocks you down. My advice: don’t avoid challenges, embrace them. Every obstacle is practice for building your inner strength.
2. Discipline – Motivation comes and goes, but discipline keeps you moving forward. Start small—set one goal you can stick to daily. Over time, those small commitments build into massive results.
3. Connection & Community – Nothing great is built alone. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, challenge you, and share your vision. My advice: network with authenticity—seek genuine relationships, not just transactions.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, I pause and ground myself instead of pushing harder. Sometimes that means taking a few deep breaths, going for a walk, or moving my body to release the tension. I also break big tasks into smaller steps—small wins make the load feel lighter. My advice: don’t try to do everything at once. Give yourself permission to slow down, reset, and then move forward with clarity and focus.
