Meet Jonah Sanders

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jonah Sanders a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Jonah , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

I would say that it comes from being on my own since the age of 12. My father took me to the Department of Family Service and left with the words, “ Fight” then vanished. Through street life to prison and beyond, a person has no choice but to fight or die.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

In prison I found myself; I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. Help people not go through what I went through. To be an example of strength. Therefore through education and love I started Genius IQ to provide free education worldwide because I learned that ignorance is the path to destruction so through education we find the remedy. Also, The Urban Law School and other creation’s of mine are available exclusively on my website, www.iamjonahsanders.com

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I would say simply learning to stop and think. In life there are only two things; problems and solutions. My skill set is what all people possess; wanting to learn and to change. As far as knowledge, my knowledge of the law and psychology have helped me the most.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I would love to collaborate with individuals whom have seen and felt struggle and pain for those persons have the super power to help others. Don’t get me wrong all people possess this skill nevertheless the best experience and knowledge cones from life itself.
