Meet Jonathan Fenni Walters

We recently connected with Jonathan Fenni Walters and have shared our conversation below.

Jonathan Fenni, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?

“Being the only one in the room who looks like me has been both a challenge and a privilege. I’ve learned to approach these moments as opportunities to amplify perspectives that might otherwise go unheard. Success in such situations comes down to preparation, resilience, and authenticity. I make sure to deeply understand the subject at hand, so my voice carries weight and credibility.

I’ve also developed a strong sense of self-awareness, knowing when to listen and when to lead. Representing diversity is not just about standing out—it’s about bringing a fresh lens and inspiring others to see beyond the usual narratives. At Sinolife Media, I strive to ensure no one feels they’re the ‘only one’ by fostering a culture of inclusion and mutual respect.”

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Much appreciated. And thanks for having me.
I’m Jonathan “Fenni” Walters, known in the music world as Fenni Casino and the Most Known Unknown Power Executive from Southwest Atlanta. With nine music projects under my belt, I’m gearing up to drop two more in 2025.

Back in 2008, after navigating some shaky record deals and gaining firsthand experience of the industry’s pitfalls, I founded Sinolife Media. This move was pivotal for me and my family, allowing us to take control of our creative destiny. Initially, Sinolife Media focused on social media marketing a visionary step at a time when platforms like Myspace were just gaining traction. I hustled to market my music online, achieving the #1 spot on Myspace indie music charts for several weeks, which was no small feat.

Securing clients back then was a grind; pitching social media marketing to small businesses felt like selling magazine ads in today’s digital age. But my drive to help others realize their visions kept me pushing forward. I’m honest and aggressive in my approach—when you know your business inside out, you operate with a certain confidence, a Mamba mentality. On the court, I’m ruthless; off the court, I’m doing the work. This relentless pursuit leads to consistent progression.

My music is authentic—thought-provoking, sonically vigorous, and eclectic. Nobody sounds like me; nobody writes like me. I’m professionally trained and poetically gifted, thriving on competition in the music scene. My niche audience of Hip-Hop/Rap fans and supporters means the world to me.

Transitioning into an Executive Producer in Music, Film, and TV, I apply the same confident, targeted approach. I push my artists and creative clients hard because the climb to success demands it. As a father, I believe in tough love. I didn’t choose this path, but now that I’m on it, I’m forging new avenues along the way. It’s never been about the money or following the crowd. Sinolife Media’s message is clear: put your blinders on and focus on your vision. Learn, be aware, bless others—but through your own thinking and efforts.

This mentality has opened doors across various sectors, including Agriculture, Tech, Education, and Health & Wellness. My desire to assist others with inspiring projects has always paid the bills. My family inspires and drives me, but it’s my relationship with God that fosters powerful business relationships.

At Sinolife Media, we don’t just play the game; we redefine it. Our services span website development, SEO optimization, social media marketing, branding, sales and lead generation, and end-to-end content creation. We dominate in film and TV production, music publishing, distribution, sync licensing, and content monetization. We take your vision from the block to the boardroom, ensuring every move is calculated and impactful.

Our portfolio reads like a who’s who of the industry. We’ve orchestrated Kanye West’s album release events, collaborated with Young Blu’s Moon Boy Studios, and helped produce events for Bravo TV and Mona Scott’s “The New Atlanta.” As an Associate Producer for “Night Shift The Movie” directed by Julian Boothe (Love & Hip-Hop) starring Trey Chaney (The Wire) with Rich Black of Arch Films and Steve Raze Aga Films, I help bring stories from the streets to the silver screen. Our partners events alliances and content media experience have spanned in several sectors including with Bonfire ATL, Web Summit Technology International Conference in Dublin, Ireland, AC3 Hip-Hop Music Festival Atlanta,GA, NAMM Music Conference Anaheim CA, and Black Ink Atlanta solidify our status as industry power players.

From securing film and TV financing to scriptwriting and casting, we handle it all with precision. Our branding strategies are as sharp as a hustler’s instinct, and our project management ensures your vision is executed flawlessly. I’ve brokered deals for heavyweights like Lil Baby and TM88 and produced events featuring Kanye West, Keri Hilson and Waka Flocka. My influence is felt from the studio to the streets from the streets to the boardroom. And even some collegiate situations. Let’s see what 2025 brings. I am thankful and locked-in next question..

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I believe that balance, integrity, and awareness are essential. While having a dream is important, these qualities drive maximum output. Filling your day with constant motion toward your goals, while nourishing your soul with life’s values and lessons, is crucial. Staying focused is key: use your time effectively without distractions. Spending time with family can motivate you, and creating healthy environments can foster creative and powerful thoughts. Be honest with yourself and realistic about your goals and what you can manage; don’t spread yourself too thin. Managing expectations is part of being aware. Apply these principles throughout your journey, and you’ll see results flourish.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Losing friends and family is a challenging aspect of this journey. It’s difficult to accept that not everyone will understand or support your vision. While I genuinely wish the best for my friends and sometimes wish they could join me in exploring the unknown, I recognize that this path is uniquely mine. The absence of these relationships creates a void that must be addressed as I move forward. Success often requires making sacrifices, and distancing oneself from those who no longer align with your goals is sometimes necessary. Connecting with friends has become increasingly difficult, and even early on, including them in my journey was challenging. It’s important to understand that this path is chosen for me, just as others have their own journeys to follow.
