Meet Jonathan Hay

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jonathan Hay. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jonathan, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

The root of my resilience stems from my painful upbringing, as I was abandoned by my mother at birth. My adoptive parents divorced when I was a young child, and I was caught in the middle of a broken home. My adoptive mom was a teacher, and she married her former student. She was almost twice the age of my stepdad who started to raise me when he was just a teenager. My adoptive dad must have found that both humiliating and heartbreaking, because his family was building a megachurch in Louisville, Kentucky called Southeast Christian. My childhood was as dysfunctional and depressing as it sounds. I am self-made and had no choice but to become resilient and succeed at all costs.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m releasing a music industry tell-all book called, ‘How A Stripper Saved My Life’. During my visit to a dive strip bar in Times Square, New York, I met an exotic dancer who inspired the title. We hit it off in a private room at the strip club and she ended up coming back to my hotel. I convinced her to quit her job and we jumped headfirst into a serious relationship, which at first appeared to be all about money. We eventually fell madly in love, and quickly built a promising life and business. She’s an empath, so she was able to help me learn how to compartmentalize all my trauma and PTSD. Above all, she introduced me to Brooklyn, and some kaleidoscopic healing methods that drastically altered my life. As a result of the pandemic, we split up in London, England; however, I went on to build my own life in Brooklyn following the breakup. As far as I’m concerned, there’s never been anyone else who has had such a profound impact on my life as this stripper. I am really looking forward to starting my new regimen with KYO RX and putting my fitness first, since I look way too good to not be out there living my best life. I need to get in shape and have my own stripper body.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I became a celebrity publicist through extreme, obsessive work habits. I absolutely love being a workaholic! I’m very blessed to be able to work, or have worked with most of my heroes. I’ve accomplished a lot in life, and I have truly lived my dreams. But honestly, it’s still not enough. I’m outside competing at the highest level, with a lot left on my bucket list. Several haters even teamed up because they are so desperate and pathetic. They will get my complete competitive vengeance, wrath and destruction (laughing). While they are still unaccomplished and have done nothing with their own lives and careers, they have persistently come for me. I’ve been strategic with my patience and silence, just waiting for the right time to strike. It’s now time for you all to face the music and feel my fury.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

I’d have to humbly say that my own book, ‘How A Stripper Saved My Life’ played a significant role in this new, exciting chapter of my life. I’ve been getting a tremendous amount of press coverage lately from stories that are actually from my book. I did an interview with the wildly popular influencer Tisa Tells about Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Diddy that was a true game changer. I’m really excited about releasing my book to the masses and exposing my vulnerability and truths. I recognize that I have a serious calling and I’m out here aggressively pursuing my purpose. That being said, my favorite books are the ‘Bible’, ‘The Autobiography of Malcolm X’, ‘The Art of War’ and the ’48 Laws of Power’.
