Meet Jonevieve Forte

We were lucky to catch up with Jonevieve Forte recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jonevieve, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I always knew that I was called to serve others. I was good at being a listening ear and guiding others. People would always come to me for help or advice in different areas of their lives mainly in their personal and professional development. Being a career and life coach; my purpose is to help others discover theirs! How cool is that??? It didn’t take me long to connect the dots after being in various roles such as college admissions, career services, staffing and recruiting that I had a passion for helping others reach the next level in life. For me finding your purpose is; what do you do really well with the least amount of effort? Personally, I have the ability to connect with others easily; people open up to me, they share their life stories, their struggles and their successes. I also have a knack for goal setting and breaking down steps easily for people to follow. God eventually led me on to the path of coaching and I haven’t turned back since.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Currently I am the founder of a nonprofit called Navigate Career Center Inc. Our mission is to equip participants with the essential tools, knowledge and confidence required to navigate in today’s evolving job market. We offer workshop facilitation for career readiness workshops, and goal setting workshops. We offer individual career and coaching services such as resume writing, improving interviewing skills and job search strategies and techniques. Our nonprofit career center is dedicated to providing accessible resources, personalized guidance, and skill-building opportunities. We are committed to fostering lifelong career success, we strive to bridge gaps, cultivate talent, and create a supportive community where faith and career growth seamlessly intertwine. I am also an author; I have line of self-help books including goal setting planners and prayer journals. My books are sold online on Amazon and offered in the programs.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I would say a combination of me people skills, my vast knowledge of career services and working in college admissions and recruiting and staffing for various industries.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I am looking for other organizations and nonprofits to partner with where I can provide career and job readiness services throughout the community. I am currently in conversations with a few right now who are looking to either build or expand on their existing programs and services. I will come into you organization and build and run a career readiness program or facilitate a workshop. I’m looking to collaborate with like minded individuals looking to uplift and make and impact in the community. If you are interested in collaborating please contact me directly [email protected]
