We were lucky to catch up with Jordan Alexa recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jordan , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I don’t think there was ever a time when I was disconnected from purpose. Even at a young age, it was always present. Not fully formed and not clearly named, but looming. There were seasons where I lacked clarity or direction, where I couldn’t articulate what I was being called toward, yet there was always something quietly beckoning for my attention.
Before I ever labeled my work as purpose-driven, I was simply being who I am. I have always been creative. I have always helped people navigate their inner worlds, whether through creativity, personal growth, or reflection. I have always been an advocate for the development of people’s lives, often without realizing that this was the work itself.
The real shift came when I finally told my own story. For a long time, I didn’t believe my story was worth telling. But once I shared it, people reflected it back to me in ways I couldn’t ignore. They told me they could relate. That they felt seen. That I gave language to experiences they had been living but could not name. In that exchange, I realized purpose is not something you find. It is something that reveals itself when you allow yourself to be seen.
For me, purpose is not a single destination. It is a cycle of discovery, mastery, and discovery again. Each season reveals a new layer, not because the purpose has changed, but because I have.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At the core of what I do is helping people come home to themselves creatively. My work lives at the intersection of creativity, clarity, and community. Through my creative consulting and coaching practice, Inscribe Out, I support purpose-driven creatives as they navigate their inner world, articulate their voice, and build work that feels aligned rather than performative.
What feels most exciting about my work is that it is not centered on output alone. I am less interested in helping people create more and more invested in helping them understand how they create. I believe that as creatives, our mind should be our most cultivated project, because we are the greatest masterpiece we will ever work on. Much of my work involves guiding people through reflection, language, and self-trust so their creativity feels sustainable, grounded, and honest. When creatives understand themselves, their work naturally deepens.
Community is a central pillar of my work. Sent + Savvy is my creative community, a space designed for creatives who value intention, conversation, and personal growth alongside their craft. It is a place where people are encouraged to think out loud, be witnessed, and grow in relationship with others who are equally committed to meaningful creative work.
The Kreative Forum is an in-person event experience that I host in collaboration with other creative brands. These gatherings are designed to slow people down and invite honest dialogue, shared insight, and real connection. The focus is less on performance and more on presence.
I explore these same ideas through my podcast, where I center conversations around the human experience with the intention of helping people grow and evolve. The heart of the show is reminding listeners that while each of us is one of one, the experiences we move through are often shared. Naming those experiences creates language, connection, and a sense of not being alone.
More than anything, I want people to know that my brand is rooted in permission. Permission to evolve. Permission to question. Permission to create from truth rather than pressure.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three qualities have been most impactful in my journey.
First, being a forever student. I’ve always been curious about life and creativity, but I’ve learned the most by paying attention to my own experiences and noticing how my work reflects what’s happening inside of me. I love science and understanding how the brain works, and learning that it is wired to resist change because it interprets it as a threat completely changed how I approach doubt and insecurity. This understanding transformed not just how I create, but how I navigate fear and growth.
The second quality is boldness. If you have a vision, it is with you for a reason. God has placed what is inside of you in partnership with your faith and your work, so you can make the intangible tangible. Boldness is not about recklessness. It is about stepping into what you are meant to do, trusting that you have the capacity to move what is in your heart into reality.
The third is not taking yourself too seriously. What we do matters, but perfectionism can be paralyzing. I try to remember that if I can see something in my mind, I have both the will and the capacity to build it in real life. Growth happens in small steps, and failure is never the end. It is simply proof that you have started. This mindset allows me to experiment, learn, and move forward without letting fear or self-criticism block progress.
For anyone early in their journey, I would say stay curious, be bold in stepping into your purpose, and give yourself grace to experiment and fail. Life is about progress, not perfection, and your capacity to grow is always greater than you think.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely, I am always looking to collaborate. Collaboration has been at the heart of some of the coolest opportunities in my career, from doing branding for Atlanta Fashion Week to currently writing and creative directing for a potential TV series. I love working with people who are curious, purpose-driven, and open to exploring new ideas, especially those who value creativity as a tool for impact and meaningful expression.
I am particularly interested in partnering with fellow creatives, brands, and organizations that are committed to intentional work, whether that is through storytelling, visual branding, community building, or innovative projects that push boundaries. I thrive when collaboration feels like a meeting of minds and values, where each person brings their unique perspective and expertise to create something bigger than any one individual could produce alone.
Those interested in collaborating can connect with me through my website or social media. I look forward to exploring opportunities that challenge, inspire, and bring creative visions to life.
