Meet Joseph Patrick Moore

We recently connected with Joseph Patrick Moore and have shared our conversation below.

Joseph Patrick, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

It’s a hard battle, but you have to have faith, trust, and the ability to dance like nobody is watching. This will help build your confidence and self-esteem.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a bass player, composer, and producer. I’m currently the bassist and Back-Up-Band Leader for the Cirque Du Soleil Las Vegas residency show, “Mystere”. I started on January 1, 2022, and have played 1000+ shows since I started. Prior to Cirque Du Soleil, I’ve released many solo projects under my name and have toured/recorded/worked with many artists such as Earl Klugh, Stewart Copeland, Bob James, Col. Bruce Hampton, Bo Bice (American Idol), Chris Duarte, Celtic Woman and many others.

Additionally, I’m involved in a record label – BlueCanoeRecords.com

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. Work Ethic: You have to commit each day.

2. Passion: Why are you doing what you are doing? You must have a passion for what it is in life that you see for yourself and the community at large.

3. Creativity: You must be willing to let go, put away your ego, and and enjoy the process of being creative without inner judgement.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

Book: The Creative Act – Rick Rubin!

Ultimately, you need to create without judgement, and embrace the process of bringing the invisible into the visible.
