We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Joshua Azali. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Joshua below.
Joshua, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I’d say it was finding where I wanted to be pursuing the most value in my time and I felt that acting was a great medium for me to pursue.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
At the moment, I’ve been doing multiple acting classes from Stella Adler to Groundlings which were some wonderful experiences for me.
There has been some great opportunities that have come up and events that I’ve bene through and it has been wonderful in overall.
Acting is just an experience I’d love to explore and this is an endeavor that I will be trying to achieve for my future.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Social skills was a must have skill for me to develop because it helped me give the understanding of others and how I can be more empathetic towards others. It’s still something I’m learning everyday.
New experiences are meant to be experienced because it helps us learn what we can learn for the future.
I’ve read plenty of non fiction books thorough out the years too which helped me build my understanding for others too.
Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
I’d say the number one book that everyone has been talking about is Atomic Habits by James Clear. It’s almost relative to The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. It is an incredible book that really brings understanding of how to be productive in everyday activities from small nuances such as waking up in the morning to getting work done at the end of the night,
