Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Joy Jones. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Joy, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

The way that I found my Purpose was by applying my skills toward contributing to the greater good in a way that mattered to me. So, by identifying what i cared about was an important first step. Sometimes it can be hard to single out one or two things that matter most to you because your circle of care and concern is far-ranging. Understanding what you value most may help you narrow down your purpose in life to something manageable that also truly resonates with you. I had to identify my personal strengths and embrace them fully. Then, I applied them toward something that I really cared about.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Who’s the woman behind the desserts? I thought I’d introduce myself to my new and exciting followers.

✨My name is Joy 👋🏼

✨I’m a certified pastry chef👩🏼‍🍳 I’m extremely passionate about making gourmet cookies and cake jars.

✨I have been a pastry chef for 12 years. Graduated from Le Cordon Bleu

✨My husband and I are
co-owners of Cookie Jones.

✨We have recently rebranded the name of our business to The Cookie Jones. We just feel it would fit us better for our business goals!

✨My Hubby and I love to spend our free time traveling, trying new food, seeing new places and learning about different cultures. ✈️🌎
Brazil 🇧🇷 has been our favorite destination so far!!!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1) Never give up.

2) Always keep pushing yourself. Even when it gets hard, you must push yourself even harder.

3) Find your passion and stick with it, And educate yourself on new trends.
