Meet Juan Figueroa

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Juan Figueroa. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Juan below.

Juan, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Since I was young, I’ve carried this sense of urgency, almost like a caution that this is my last life and I have to get it right. That feeling has pushed me to move with intention, to make the right impact, and to never waste an opportunity. I’ve found my purpose not only in real estate and creative expression, but in the people I help along the way. Seeing people transform, grow, and succeed fuels me. I know that what I’m building isn’t just for today—it’s creating a lasting impact that extends beyond my own career.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Real estate became my vehicle—not just for success, but for impact. I’ve built a strong foundation in sales, managing a portfolio of 70 doors, but what really drives me is fostering meaningful connections and helping others grow. Watching others level up, guiding them through challenges, and seeing them succeed is what fuels me.

I don’t just recruit or promote—I set a standard. I make sure every agent and team member at PHG operates at their highest level. This isn’t just a business for me. It’s a mission. And every day, I move with purpose, knowing I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
If I had to narrow it down to three things that really define me, I’d say:

I see the bigger picture. I’m not just thinking about today—I’m always looking ahead, figuring out how to build something lasting, whether it’s for myself, my team, or those I work with. I know how to spot potential in people and help them get to that next level.

I move with purpose. I don’t waste time, and I don’t take opportunities for granted. I’ve always had this feeling that I have to get it right, and that pushes me to give 100% in everything I do. I expect the same from the people around me.

I know people. Real estate is a relationship game, and I know how to build trust. I take pride in connecting with people, understanding what they need, and making sure they’re set up for success.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my mom did for me was show me what real strength looks like. She raised me on her own, and I watched her handle everything—work, life, and the challenges that came with it—without ever making excuses. She didn’t just tell me to work hard; she showed me what that looked like every single day.

She made sure I understood that nothing in life is given—you have to earn it. That mindset shaped who I am. It’s why I take ownership of everything I do, why I don’t back down from challenges, and why I move with purpose.

My mom didn’t just raise me—she built me. Everything I’ve accomplished, every move I make, is a reflection of the strength and resilience she instilled in me.
