Meet Jugashree Bosoi

We recently connected with Jugashree Bosoi and have shared our conversation below.

Jugashree, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

When people ask me, “Where do you get your work ethic from?” my answer comes from two decades of experience, discipline, and a deep love for creating.

For the past 20 years, I’ve worked as a professional fine artist—studying, painting, and sharing my work with collectors and admirers around the world. That journey has shaped my work ethic more than anything else. Being an artist isn’t just about inspiration; it’s about persistence. It’s about showing up every single day, whether the ideas flow easily or whether the canvas feels impossible. It’s about learning that creativity requires both patience and discipline, and that every brushstroke matters.

My work ethic also comes from my roots and values—watching how commitment, honesty, and consistency can transform small steps into lasting impact. I carry those lessons into everything I do.

Now, with LunarisLuxe, my new chapter of blending candles with art, that same ethic continues to guide me. Hand-pouring wax, curating fragrances, and designing each piece requires the same dedication as painting. It’s about honoring details, staying true to vision, and creating something meaningful that others can experience.

So, where do I get my work ethic from? From 20 years of living art every day, from never giving up on what I love, and from believing that beauty—whether on a canvas or in candlelight—deserves the very best effort.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

From Canvas to Candlelight
I’m Jugashree Bisoi, a professional fine artist with 20 years of experience creating oil paintings that have found homes with collectors and admirers across the world. Art has always been the center of my life—it’s where I’ve learned discipline, patience, and the joy of transforming vision into something tangible.

Recently, I launched LunarisLuxe Candles, a brand that bridges my art with everyday living. Each candle is designed with the same care and creativity I bring to my paintings—whether through fragrance blends, hand-poured details, or even candles inspired directly by my artwork. What excites me most is that LunarisLuxe allows people to not only see art but to feel it, through glow, scent, and atmosphere.

What makes LunarisLuxe special is the idea that a candle is more than light—it’s energy, mood, and a touch of elegance for any space. From signature jar candles to art-inspired collections, every piece is crafted to be both beautiful and meaningful.

This season is especially exciting as I’m introducing new designs and fragrances alongside the official launch of my website and social media channels. It’s a chance to share not only my candles, but also my paintings, under one creative umbrella.

At its heart, LunarisLuxe is about bringing warmth, creativity, and elegance into people’s homes—whether through canvas or candlelight.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on my 20-year journey as a professional artist and now as the founder of Lunarisluxe, Candle three qualities stand out as the most impactful.
Discipline & Consistency
Creativity doesn’t thrive on inspiration alone—it grows through showing up every single day. Whether I’m painting or hand-pouring candles, discipline is what carries me through the difficult days.
Patience & Resilience
Art taught me patience—oil paintings take time to dry, ideas take time to mature, and success takes time to unfold. Not everything works the first time, but persistence always pays off.
What excites me most is the ability to transform imagination into something people can feel and connect with. At the same time, adaptability is key—learning new techniques, exploring new mediums, and embracing change helped me evolve from canvas into candlelight.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

My ideal client is someone who values both art and atmosphere—a person who sees beauty not just as decoration, but as something that creates meaning and energy in their space.

For my paintings, it’s often collectors and admirers who connect emotionally with a piece, seeing it as more than color on canvas but as a story, a mood, or a memory.
