Meet Julia Brooks

We recently connected with Julia Brooks and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Julia , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I started making candy because I couldn’t stand the artificial ingredients in most sweets here in the U.S. Growing up in Europe, that wasn’t something we had to worry about. I wanted my kids to enjoy treats without the bad stuff, so I created my own. After perfecting the recipes, I knew I had to share them. Nothing makes me happier than seeing people enjoy something made with care and integrity.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

We offer our candy at local markets and now on our newly launched website! www.susscandy.com
Check it out and be part of the change for your family’s health. Artificial colors and chemicals dont belong in treats- you can enjoy delicious sweets made with care and non of the harmful additives. We always have new flavors as the seasons change as well.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Persistence and Determination.
Creative Problem Solving
Passion for Health and Family

If you are not ready for challenges or failures this isnt for the faint of heart.
Stick with it and get through the hard times it will pay off.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

Just spreading the word about what we do.
