Meet Julie Gray

We recently connected with Julie Gray and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Julie, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my mother for sure. My parents came to America from Vietnam during the war and had absolutely nothing and turned it into something. My mother taught herself english, worked two jobs, and started her own business’. She did all of that working two full time jobs with a smile on her face every day with no hesitation. Every thing that I am, it’s because of her.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Outside of being a creative and business woman, last year I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and had the hardest battle of my life. It opened my eyes to a lot and how fragile life really is and how for granted we take so many moments. Having cancer really changed my perspective on everything and how I navigate through life now after.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Passion, Focus, Drive. An idea is just an idea without the proper execution. Be an executor.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
I’m definitely a nerd. A book worm at heart… A book that played an important role in my life is definitely the 48 laws of power by Robert Greene.
