Meet Julie & Jimmy Bendlin

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Julie & Jimmy Bendlin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Julie & Jimmy, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

The possibilitys of the future. We live in a world where you can choose your destination. It’s up to you to choose the kind of life you lead. We wanted to work full time with dogs and just kept doing that next right step in that direction. We want to live in the Black Hills so we kept looking for the next right step in that direction. The possibilities are endless and God is good.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Jimmy & I grew up in Iowa, we have 3 kids Jevin 14, Jagger 10 and Jewel 8. We raise goldendoodles as well as groom and board dogs. We give our clients upgraded services they deserve for a relaxing day at the dog spa. Giving our place a more relaxed feel and look makes us stand out among other grooming salons. Were very excited to take our passion to the next level with Paw Patch our boarding facility in the beautiful Black Hills of S.D.!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

It starts with one thought, it’s your job to recognize the thought God placed in your mind and act on it.
Do something every day that gets you closer to that dream.
It takes time and work to build yourself as you build your business. Every setback is an opportunity to learn from and push you forward. Keep going forward and you will reach your goals!
Three most important qualities would be THINK, DO, PERSIST

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
