We recently connected with Julie Jones and have shared our conversation below.
Julie, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
For a long time, I thought confidence would come after I reached a certain level of success. I thought once I had more clients, more money, more external validation, I’d finally feel confident.
But that wasn’t the case. At least not in the way I expected.
Somewhere along the way, I realized that true confidence isn’t just the effect of my circumstances.
It’s built by putting in the reps… doing things that feel hard and scary, and realizing… I’m not going to die.
It’s witnessing myself take action before I feel ready.
It’s shifting how I see myself because of what I’ve proven to myself.
But just doing hard things isn’t the whole thing. I also had to learn how to do them in a way that was aligned with who I really am.
I started studying Human Design, and for the first time, I had a framework that helped me understand how my energy was designed to work. I stopped following strategies that weren’t built for me and started listening to my inner authority.
I stopped contorting myself to fit someone else’s blueprint.
I stopped dimming my message to be more palatable.
I started to see myself.
And from there my confidence grew along with my self image.
And even now—as a leader in my community and with my clients—I’m still doing this work.
Not because I “have to,” but because growth is a huge value for me.
Confidence and self-image are evolving things in my world… always expanding, deepening, and refining as I do.
Self perception is one of the most underrated tools in the business world.
How we see ourselves dictates what we are willing to do. This is why I coach service-based entrepreneurs not just on sales or strategy, but on becoming the most aligned version of themselves—because when you trust who you are, when you know your strengths, there truly are no limits.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I was the woman who had done a lot of “right.”
Worked hard. Said yes to everyone. Held the professional title. Collected the predictable paycheck. Got married, had kids, moved to the Midwest.
But inside—I was unraveling.
Postpartum depression had drained the joy out of my life.
I felt disconnected from myself, from my purpose, from my power.
I was craving success, recognition, permission to want more—but terrified of what that would require.
Terrified of being judged. Of being misunderstood. Of being seen in my mess. Of failing.
Terrified of disrupting the reality everyone else was comfortable with.
But at some point—I stopped choosing fear.
I chose radical alignment.
I chose possibility, even when it didn’t make sense.
I chose to believe there was a version of me who could be free, fulfilled, and fully expressed—without sacrificing my values, my time, or my energy to get there.
That choice changed everything.
Within a year, I replaced my $40k salary with a six-figure business.
I work under 20 hours a week. I stay home with my babies.
I lead with intuition, and strategy follows.
I’m not fearless—but I’m no longer led by fear. I lead from alignment, with conviction, and with the belief that this gets to work—and I don’t have to know how.
I coach service-based entrepreneurs who are ready to lead in a new way:
Through resonance.
Through truth.
Through the unapologetic expression of their unique brilliance.
This is more than business coaching. It’s a movement.
I work with the liberators, the visionaries, the disruptors—the ones who aren’t here to follow rules, but to raise the frequency of everything they touch.
The ones who know their business is the portal.
Their offer is the legacy.
Their voice is the vibration that changes things.
I’m a business coach, yes.
But what I’m really a master at?
Spotting where you’re out of coherence—and guiding you to shift it.
Because lack of coherence = resistance.
And resistance slows everything down.
But when your beliefs, energy, actions, and environment are finally in harmony?
Things move fast.
Clients appear.
Money flows.
Opportunities open.
And what lights me up more than anything?
Watching my clients come alive.
Seeing them realize their dreams aren’t too big and their genius isn’t too weird.
Helping them package what makes them magnetic—and finally get paid for it.
Because you don’t need to change who you are to be successful.
You just need the courage to amplify who you are.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three most impactful qualities and skills in my journey have been:
1. Emotional Resilience – Entrepreneurship will test every part of you. The ability to bounce back from setbacks, regulate your nervous system, and keep showing up even when things feel uncertain has been absolutely foundational. For those early in their journey, start building this muscle now. Meditate. Journal. Learn to pause and respond instead of react. Your energy is your greatest asset.
2. Sales & Communication – No matter how powerful your service or product is, if you can’t clearly communicate the value, people won’t buy. Learning how to sell in a way that feels authentic, aligned, and service-driven changed everything for me. I encourage anyone starting out to study not just sales strategies, but human behavior and psychology. Sales is not about persuasion, but rather connection.
3. Self-Leadership & Intuition – At the end of the day, no strategy works unless it works for you. Learning to trust yourself, discern between fear and misalignment, and lead from your values will guide you when the path isn’t clear (which is most of the time!). Build practices that connect you to your inner knowing, because every next level will require a new level of inner authority.
If you can stay emotionally grounded, speak powerfully to the value of what you offer, and trust yourself deeply, you’ll not only succeed, you’ll build something that feels really good to you.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My clients are heart-centered service providers —typically coaches, consultants, or holistic practitioners—who know they’re here to make a meaningful impact but feel like they’re not fully expressing their potential (yet).
They’re often highly intuitive, self-aware, and growth-oriented, but they’ve hit a plateau in sales, confidence, or clarity around their business structure. They also usually find that conventional business strategies don’t work for them (or give them the ick).
What makes someone a good fit for me is not where they’re at in business, but how they show up. They’re coachable. They’re not afraid to go inward and look at the subconscious patterns, energetic blocks, or outdated strategies that are holding them back. They’re open to taking the road less traveled and operating in the quantum field of possibility.
Many of my clients are also spiritual, committed not only to growing their income, but to raising the collective frequency through their lives, work, and communities.
If you’re willing to ditch the cookie-cutter templates and co-create a business that aligns with your values, vision, and natural way of being, we’re likely a great fit.
