Meet Julie Kennedy

We were lucky to catch up with Julie Kennedy recently and have shared our conversation below.

Julie , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I learned to turned my challenges into acts of service that would help others in similar situations. Instead of pouring energy into being down about a particular challenge, I use my energy to help others. I did not have a lot of guidance from my parents, so I learned that mentors, adopted family, friends, professors, etc. were invaluable in guiding me through life on all levels.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I own Seed Wellness Co. which is a functional medicine clinic. We have team of providers, including me as a doctoral-trained nurse practitioner, health coaches, counselors, IV nurses, and nutritionists. By housing everyone under one roof, we can provide a holistic approach to wellness. We use lifestyle as medicine and one of our biggest offerings is our IV services ranging from nutrient IVs to ozone and ultraviolet blood irradiation. We pride ourselves as a longevity and anti-aging institute.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three most important qualities that have impacted my journey would be having a positive mindset, being resilient, and being able to admit when you need help. Having a positive mindset is a practice. I try to quickly pivot negative thoughts into positive ones. In regards to resiliency, I give myself time to process, but not too long, and then get back in the game. The last quality of admitting when I need help is a vulnerable position. But in the end, the value added from seeking help far outweighs the vulnerability.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

Currently, our group sees two populations of people. Top executives and business owners that want to improve overall wellness and longevity, and those that are ill with autoimmune issues, mold toxicity, Lyme, gut issues, and mental health struggles.
