Meet Julie Reisler

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Julie Reisler. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Julie , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Embracing My Calling: The Journey to Becoming The You-est You In the midst of life’s chaos and uncertainty, there comes a moment of clarity, a moment when the whispers of the soul become too loud to ignore. For me, that moment arrived in the form of a deep yearning—a yearning to unlock my true potential and to guide others on their journey to authenticity and fulfillment. After years of doing deep personal growth work and healing from struggles with food addiction and feeling ‘not enough’, I had a miraculous realization that changed my life.

The Awakening
My journey began with a sense of restlessness, a nagging feeling that there was something more to life than merely going through the motions. During a period of introspection and soul-searching, I stumbled upon a profound realization: my purpose lay in empowering others to embrace their true selves and manifest their dreams.

The Birth of The You-est You®
With this newfound clarity, I embarked on a mission to create a platform to serve as a beacon of inspiration and guidance for soulful individuals seeking to align with their deepest desires. Thus, my business, Empowered Living Inc. and The You-est You podcast, was born—a space where authenticity reigns supreme and guests share their authentic stories of spiritual connection, triumph, resilience, and self-discovery.

Navigating the Journey
Starting my coaching business was not merely about offering guidance; it was about fostering a community of like-minded individuals who share a common goal: to live life on their terms and to trust in the wisdom of their intuition. Through personalized coaching sessions, workshops, and retreats, I have had the privilege of witnessing countless transformations—the moment when doubt gives way to confidence and fear surrenders to faith.

The Power of Manifestation and Intuition
Central to my coaching philosophy is the belief in the power of manifestation and intuition. I guide my clients in tapping into their inner wisdom, helping them to cultivate a deep sense of trust in their intuition and harness the limitless potential of their minds and hearts. Together, we navigate the ebbs and flows of life with grace and resilience, knowing that within each challenge lies an opportunity for growth.

In embracing my calling as an intuitive coach, author, and podcast host, I have discovered a profound purpose rooted in service, authenticity, and unwavering faith. My journey has been one of self-discovery, of uncovering the depths of my soul and guiding others to do the same. As I continue on this path, I am reminded of the infinite possibilities that await those who dare to embrace their truest selves—together, we are The You-est You (or the ‘We-est We’).

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve my community in this way and look forward to the continued evolution of this beautiful journey together.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Self-awareness: Developing a deep understanding of oneself was foundational in my journey. By cultivating self-awareness, I could recognize my strengths, growth opportunities, values, and desires. This awareness allowed me to make informed decisions aligned with my authentic self and navigate challenges with clarity and resilience.

Mindfulness: Cultivating mindfulness involves being fully present in the moment, without judgment. This practice enables individuals to develop greater self-awareness, manage stress more effectively, and enhance their overall well-being. By incorporating mindfulness into daily life through practices such as meditation, deep breathing, yoga, or mindful movement, individuals can cultivate a greater sense of clarity, focus, and inner peace.

Compassion: Compassion involves recognizing and empathizing with the suffering of others and taking action to alleviate it. Practicing compassion strengthens interpersonal relationships and fosters a sense of connection and belonging. By cultivating compassion, individuals can enhance their emotional intelligence, improve communication skills, and contribute to a more compassionate and supportive community.

Curiosity: Building curiosity led to resilience, which was crucial in overcoming obstacles and setbacks along the way. Embracing “failure” as an opportunity for growth, I learned to love myself with greater compassion and always bounce back stronger and more determined to see each experience as a learning experience. Curiosity has given me greater resilience, enabling me to persevere in adversity and stay committed to my heart-led vision, even when faced with doubts or setbacks.

By focusing on self-awareness, mindfulness, compassion, and curiosity, individuals can cultivate a holistic set of skills that empower them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, personally and professionally. These skills enhance individual well-being and contribute to creating a more compassionate, resilient, and interconnected world.

What advice do you have for individuals early in their journey on how they can best develop or improve on these qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge?

Invest in Self-Discovery: Take the time to explore your interests, values, and passions. Engage in practices such as journaling, meditation, yoga, or introspection to deepen your self-awareness. Seek feedback from others and be open to constructive criticism as opportunities for growth.

Embrace and Honor Challenges: View challenges as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles to be avoided. Cultivate a growth mindset and be willing to step outside your comfort zone. Embrace failure as a natural part of the learning process and use setbacks as motivation to persevere and adapt.

Develop Interpersonal Skills: Invest in developing your emotional intelligence and compassion muscle by practicing active listening, empathy, and effective communication. Seek out opportunities to collaborate with others and cultivate meaningful relationships. Learn to manage your emotions effectively and develop resilience in the face of interpersonal challenges.

By focusing on self-awareness, resilience, and emotional intelligence, individuals can lay a strong foundation for personal and professional growth, enabling them to navigate their journey with confidence and authenticity.
