Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Julie Stevens. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Julie, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I found my purpose through my greatest challenge. When I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and given a 14% chance of survival, I could have just accepted that fate. But instead, I realized I had a choice about how to spend my energy – and that’s always been my core belief: the only thing we can control is how we spend our energy.
My purpose emerged when I understood that everything I was learning to save my own life – the data-driven approach, the six toolboxes for healing, the importance of patient empowerment – needed to be available to every cancer patient. I went from being a patient fighting for my life to becoming an advocate fighting for others.
The moment I went from complete remission back to thinking about all the people still struggling with their 14% odds – that’s when I knew I had to found MOJO Health. My purpose became making sure no one else had to figure this out alone the way I did.
Your greatest challenges can become your greatest purpose. When you transform your pain into your passion for helping others, you don’t just heal yourself – you become part of healing the world. That’s what happened to me. Cancer didn’t just change my prognosis, it changed my purpose entirely.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
MOJO Health’s revolutionary mission is simple but powerful: Every person facing cancer deserves access to the same comprehensive, data-driven, hope-filled approach that saved my life.
MOJO Health was founded on the principle that cancer patients have more power over their health outcomes than they’ve been taught to believe. The organization exists to bridge the gap between conventional medicine’s limitations and the full spectrum of healing possibilities available worldwide.
I have written a book (MOJO Healing), started a nonprofit (MOJO Health – mojohealth.org), launched a Podcast (Spotify, apple, Youtube), and a supplement company More Joy Health (morejoyhealth.com) to help patient’s following in my wake not have to suffer!
We teach people the data they can use (13 types) to predict what treatments will work, rebuild their natural health defense systems, prepare for treatment to maximize impact, and outsmart side effects so people can heal without suffering.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Following my intuition and using my skills to identify a new approach to healing cancer – if something doesn’t sit right with you, dig in to the data to understand why and what you can use to predict!
Living in joy, versus fear – most people are just trying not to die after being diagnosed with cancer…. I tried to actually LIVE my best life! For me that even meant throwing costume parties at my infusions so I could shift the frequency from death remediation to life.
building a team of experts vs. just relying on one. I studied medical school curriculum and realized doctors were taught 1/6 of the healing toolboxes I had identified when studying how they heal across the globe. You need more than conventional doctors to support your journey.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
We were taught doctors are health experts, but the reality is that doctors are pharmaceutical experts who treat disease. They only learn 1/6 of the healing toolboxes utilized globally and we focus on a reactive data strategy to diagnose, not predict disease. I am working to teach people (patients and practitioners) how to use biological data markers (blood, stool, urine, saliva) to predict likely health outcomes proactively. The story lies in our decisions to understand the root causes – yet we only teach allopathic (symptom remediation) in schooling today.
