Meet Juliette Greindl

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Juliette Greindl. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Juliette, first a big thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and insights with us today. I’m sure many of our readers will benefit from your wisdom, and one of the areas where we think your insight might be most helpful is related to imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is holding so many people back from reaching their true and highest potential and so we’d love to hear about your journey and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
To overcome imposter syndrome, I took several steps. First, I started acknowledging my achievements and the effort I put into my work. This helped me realize that I deserved the success I achieved and that it wasn’t just luck or chance. Second, I sought support from mentors and peers who believed in me and my abilities. Their encouragement and positive feedback helped boost my confidence and reassured me that I was on the right path.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Thank you for the opportunity to share more about myself and Assaya Jewelry. As the founder and designer, I am deeply passionate about creating pieces that reflect the beauty of nature and everyday wonders. What sets Assaya Jewelry apart is our commitment to meticulous craftsmanship, with each piece crafted in vermeil with a base in sterling silver and 18K gold, ensuring both quality and elegance.

What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to tell stories through jewelry. Each piece in our collection carries its own narrative, whether it’s inspired by a serene landscape or a moment of personal discovery. I believe that jewelry should not only be beautiful but also meaningful, reflecting the wearer’s unique journey and style.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back at my journey, three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful for me were resilience, creativity, and business acumen.

Resilience: In entrepreneurship and creativity, resilience is crucial. Learn from setbacks, stay focused, and seek support when needed.

Creativity: As a jewelry designer, think outside the box, try new ideas, and embrace innovation to enhance creativity.

Business Acumen: Understand the market, manage finances, and build strong customer relationships. Educate yourself, seek mentorship, and adapt strategies based on feedback for business success.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Running Assaya Jewelry comes with its challenges, such as staying ahead of changing trends, balancing creativity with commercial success, and managing operational costs efficiently. However, these challenges also present opportunities for learning and growth, driving us to innovate and improve continuously.
