We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Juliette Langari a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Juliette, so excited to have you with us today, particularly to get your insight on a topic that comes up constantly in the community – overcoming creativity blocks. Any thoughts you can share with us?
As a content creator, I’ve faced my fair share of creative blocks. With everyone being so closely connected to the internet nowadays, it makes it harder to make something creative without feeling like you’re copying someone else’s idea. Over time, I’ve learned a few techniques to overcome these blocks and get back into my creative groove.
The first step is always acknowledgment and deciding what I need to do. Is this an opportunity where I can step away and refresh or do I need to create something soon for a deadline? Usually, regardless of the need, I always take a walk. I love clearing my head and listening to some of my favorite tunes. It’s almost more helpful for me to take a few hours to forget about what I need to get done, rather than obsessing over it and getting burnt out.
Once I’ve cleared my head, I set some small goals. Say I need to create content for a hiking boot brand, I find a trail I’m curious about and drive there. Usually, the environment sets up my shots for me! It’s also been big for me to connect with others, sharing my struggles with fellow content creators has been incredibly helpful. Joining a community not only gave me great friendships, but also tips and tricks and a whole lot of accountability.
Creative blocks are a natural part of the process, but don’t let them derail you. Take a step back, breathe, and march onward.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
As a passionate content creator, I thrive on bringing engaging and authentic content to life. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for storytelling, I take pride in curating content that resonates with audiences across various platforms.
Driven by a love for sustainable swaps, functional outdoor gear and clothing, and anything that keeps my body happy and healthy, I endeavor to not only entertain but also inform and empower followers to just get outside and do it.
Beyond the screen, I’m a photographer, skier, mechanical engineer, personal trainer, and nutritionist, channeling creativity into every aspect of life. With a commitment to authenticity and transparency, I can’t wait to foster genuine connections with followers and collaborators alike.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Willingness to be open to anything, perseverance, and a love for documenting! Starting out my journey was tough, and I know I’m nowhere near where I want to be yet, but looking back, if I hadn’t shown up and accepted that I may look silly, I don’t think I would’ve made it where I am today.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes always! I’m huge on getting people outside and enjoying nature. When I first started enjoying the outdoors I didn’t have any of the proper gear, knowledge, or skillsets, so I love connecting with brands that make this easy for beginners. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you’re an outdoorsy brand!
