Meet Justin Giordani

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Justin Giordani. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Justin below.

Hi Justin, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

Growing up, I didn’t see many young, suburban gay Black men like myself have much representation in the media or in my everyday life. That lack of visibility has honestly become a source of motivation for my content creator journey. I’ve learned that the best way to be effective in any room—especially when I might be the only one who looks like me—is to lead with passion and authenticity.

I focus on sharing what I care about, whether it’s a project, a perspective, or an idea, because when you’re genuinely invested in something, that energy is contagious. I’ve realized that being true to myself—not trying to fit into someone else’s mold—is what allows me to stand out, contribute meaningfully, and inspire others to do the same.

For me, success isn’t just about winning in a traditional sense; it’s about creating space for representation, celebrating individuality, and showing that there’s no single way to exist in the world. By staying committed to what I love and bringing that energy into every room, I’ve learned that I don’t just survive—I thrive, and I can help others see that they can too.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Hello! I’m Justin Giordani, a 23-year-old Chicago-based lifestyle, skincare, and wellness content creator with a background in business consulting. After graduating in 2024 I discovered my passion for content creation and started documenting my journey of balancing self-care, wellness, and a 9-to-5 corporate job. My goal is to show that building your dream life is possible—with intention, consistency, and a little fun along the way.

Through Instagram Reels and TikTok, I blend aesthetics with authenticity to inspire my audience to prioritize wellness, embrace new experiences, and create a life they genuinely love. I’ve built an engaged following by crafting relatable, high-quality content—and I’m striving to help brands and local businesses do the same through content strategy consulting, UGC creation, and influencer partnerships. From campaign development to optimizing social content, I aim to bring creativity backed by real-world marketing insight.

Consistency has been key to my growth. Over the past year, showing up for myself has taught me resilience, self-discipline, and the power of persistence. Content creation isn’t just about inspiring others—it’s been a journey of learning, experimenting, and personal growth.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep sharing lifestyle tips, wellness guidance, and motivation for anyone chasing their passions. My hope is that my content not only adds value but also reminds people that they are capable of building the life they want—while enjoying the ride.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Fearlessness / Making some sh*t shake

I always say: don’t be afraid to make some sh*t shake. Try that side project, post that content, start that thing—even if you have no idea where it’ll go. You’d be surprised how far a little boldness can take you.

– Advice: Jump in headfirst. The worst that happens is you learn something—and the best that happens? You change your life.

Prioritizing self-care

Treat yourself, because no one else will do it as well as you. Taking time for your mental health, wellness, or just a little “me time” keeps you energized, creative, and ready to show up.

– Advice: Don’t skip it. Even five minutes of intentional self-care can reset your whole day and make your hustle more sustainable.

Consistency / Showing up

Sometimes it feels like nothing’s happening—but showing up anyway is what separates those who grow from those who stall. Small, regular efforts add up faster than you think.

– Advice: Keep going, even on the “meh” days. Progress isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being persistent.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes of course! I’m always excited to partner and collaborate with brands, creators, and businesses—both local to Chicago and online. I love working with folks who focus on lifestyle, wellness, skincare, haircare, or content that inspires people to live their best lives. For Chicago based businesses (and any virtual businesses in general), I’m open to any niche—whether it’s workout studios, cafes, wine, clothing, med spa services, or something totally unique—because I love helping them bring their story to life.

If you’re interested in collaborating, I’d love to connect! You can reach me directly via email at [email protected] or DM me on Instagram (@justin.giordani) or TikTok (@yayjustintime). I’m all about brainstorming creative ideas, exploring campaigns, and creating content that’s fun, engaging, and true to both of our audiences.
