Justin, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I come from a family where hard work was the standard, not the exception. That drive was built into me from day one — to show up, give it everything, and never settle. It’s that energy that’s fueled my growth, opened doors, and keeps me chasing bigger goals every day..

13 years, 500+ events later, and still keeping it moving! Just launched the photo booth side of the biz (finally!) but still DJing like always. Got some Sunday deals going on — book now for next season and lock in today’s prices. Vikings season’s coming up too… got some fun stuff planned!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I’m all about quality, reliability, and honesty — three things I’ve learned matter most. I deliver top-notch service, stay available so my clients never stress, and keep everything upfront and clear. My goal is simple: create the perfect soundtrack and turn big moments into lasting memories.

The biggest advice I can give someone early in their journey is to stick to your principles, stay patient, and let your craft evolve. Greatness isn’t built overnight — it’s built through growth, grit, and feedback.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

Reading Atomic Habits by James Clear changed the way I approach life. It showed me how small, consistent habits can lead to major growth, helping me perform at a high level in everything I do. More than anything, it taught me the importance of always bringing energy and intention into whatever I pursue, instead of moving without purpose.
