Meet Kadayalee Washington

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kadayalee Washington a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kadayalee, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

My parents , but also from a higher calling. The vision to fulfill my prophecy is a god given gift

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My name is Kadayalee Washington, I sketch & design eyewear from a storytelling storytelling perspective. My story began in grade school when my family discovered I was negative 12.5 in eyesight; as years passed I started to indulge in fashion and design while having to wear glasses with such a thick prescription and there I realized a major problem. The problem is that millions of people struggle with their confidence while wearing glasses.

“For years I’ve worn different frames but never found a designer brand that made eyewear for those who had such an incredibly high eyesight. I took inspiration and turned it into wearable art.”

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The skills and qualities I feel are most necessary for success in business are the following,
the ability to sell, the ability to dream big, and staying a student. Keeping the 3 things in tact at all times will boost your success rate 10x.

Learning to sell not only makes you or the business your worn for money, but it also allows you to learn how to persuade people , connect with people, and ultimately have them voluntarily give you their money.

Dreaming big doesn’t cap the vision.

Staying a student means your always willing to learn , which allows you to grow in every way.
