We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kai Shanti a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I allow people to excite the divinity within themselves by allowing them to see the truth of their own being. There are different ways that I do this and it has shifted over the years.
I currently offer private one on one sessions where we can dive deeply into trauma and any other issues that may be holding someone back from seeing their own divinity and truth. I help them to release this trauma and remove these obstacles so that they may become more free in their expression.
I also offer group meditation sessions. I do not decide as an ego personality or construct how these sessions should be led. The grace within me as the Kundalini Shakti or Divinity or God, which dwells in all beings, is the energy that leads these sessions, both group and private.
I am always amazed at how this energy pulls things out of people that they no longer need and awakens people to a whole new aspect of their beings.
I also play music and write songs that are inspired by this same energetic grace. I hope that people will hear my music and feel freedom and light within themselves to create.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Love, Power and Grace
Love is the power behind everything that I do. Power is the quality that makes us succeed. Grace will let us see whatever we need.
To love, we must be love. To be love, we have to find ourself. To find the self, we have to go into the heart. Once in the heart, we have to stay; stay until we understand the depth of our being. This is where I learned to love.
Power is the place where we speak from. Power is the truth being expressed. Power is the depth of our being where we express from. We must express from our true place of power in order to communicate effectively. Power is our place of purpose. When we don’t stand in our own power, we are subject to greed. By going within and sitting in the place of our solar plexus, we can start to understand what we need to see in order to stand in power.
Grace allows us to see. As the line from the spiritual hymn, Amazing Grace, says, “was blind but now I see”. It is the perfect liberation of our being. How do we allow grace into our experience? Cultivate it within our own being. The more I surrender, love, pray, ask and release, the more I become open and receptive to grace.
How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is someone who is special. Someone who has special qualities, special traits, special emotions, special feelings. Someone who really wants to grow with me and follow their dreams. Someone who knows they are here for something deeper in life. The one who has always stuck out among the crowd, who has felt different from other people.
My qualities of grace are helping them to grow and challenge their beliefs.
