Hi Kamilya Daniels, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

My optimism comes from my time on Earth and my walk with God.
EVERYTIME it gets tough, it eventually gets better. Every time there’s
a dark cloud, the sun eventually shines. So the proof is in the pudding
of my life; there has yet to be one battle faced that I didn’t make it
through. So when tough times or obstacles find me, I look up to the hills
from which my help comes and I have confidence in knowing I’ll be on
the other side of the situation in due time.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a real estate professional, all things related to real estate transactions I can assist. Whether it’s finding a new home, reviewing documents, looking for insurance, comparing quotes, etc. – I have curated a network to have reach throughout the various entities of the profession. Which is what I feel is most exciting about it, I am in the profession to curate a better experience of the ‘real estate world’ for the average consumer. Its so much to digest when its your first go at purchasing property but I use that trusted network of builders, realtors, lenders, brokers, and a host of other contractors to make for a smooth journey. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

In this journey the most impactful skills I’ve acquired would be Accountability, Patience and Faith. In no set order. In a self-managing career I have had to learn to be accountable for my actions, words, time, finances, brand, everything at all times. In doing so, its easy to compare and become anxious .. Patience, take a second enjoy the success of where you are then proceed. Keeping a strong faith is lesson one , day one in real estate! You have to trust that it’s going to happen , you’re in it for a reason and God got you!

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

Be themselves. Karen and Edward!! I love my parents beyond words!! By them showing up everyday as themselves, I not only learned the spoken lessons, I learned the unspoken lessons loud and clear. The morals, the demeanors, the gestures, the whit, the compassion – things that you can’t verbally teach , I learned to catch on to my watching and paying attention. They would say , God gave you 2 ears/ 2 eyes and 1 mouth so you can listen and watch twice as much as you speak – and it stuck with me to pay attention to everyones unspoken conversations.
