Meet Kanda Persaud

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kanda Persaud a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Kanda with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My mother who was a school teacher thats retired now, went to work without fail . She believed in what she was doing, and she had a passion for her work that was contiguous.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a massage therapist that cares about holistic body healing I incorporate and I fashion my massage to the personal needs of my clients it may be tailored to clients who had surgery through manual lymphatic drainage massage , I do massage healing for my clients that have emotional trauma and on them I use myofascial techniques, I do prenatal and postnatal massages . I do Thai yoga massage and I also do cupping and sports massage. For clients that request sport massage or medical massage I also I’m available for those services. I regularly do community events and this allows me to introduce my services to many communities and encourage them to incorporate massage as part of a healthy lifestyle. I have a team that works with me and has also been trained by me to insure that they get give my brand massage which is spoiled by kanda . My office which is located in Paramus New Jersey also collaborate with sound bath healing and reiki. We also have first-time clients promotions as well as special through out the year and mobile massage is available to clients with disabilities and busy schedules.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I feel the reason for my success as spoiled by Kanda is because I embrace new ideas, I constantly go to seminars and work shops and retreats that helps me network and develop the best practices in massage healing. One of the best things that comes out of this type of networking is the ability to connect and meet people who believe in massage as a healing therapy.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

My father installed entrepreneurship and my mother always said if you find something that you love doing you will never work a day in your life. That’s what massage therapy is to me I love it .
