Hi Karen , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes from a deep passion for what I do and a commitment to making a real difference. I’ve always believed that the effort I put in today shapes the successes of tomorrow.
As a top real estate agent in Miami, my dedication is rooted in a genuine care for my clients and a drive to deliver the best results. I understand that each transaction is more than just buying or selling a property, it’s about helping people find a place where their lives and memories will be made.
The challenges I’ve faced have only strengthened my resolve. Every hurdle and tough negotiation has pushed me to go further, to innovate, and to constantly improve. I don’t just aim to get the job done I aim to exceed expectations.
At the core, my work ethic is about knowing that what I do has a real impact. I’m determined to give my best every day, not just because it’s my job, but because it’s who I am. This is what drives me to be exceptional in everything I do.

For me, real estate is incredibly exciting because it allows me to make a real difference in people’s lives. The idea of helping someone find their dream home or make a smart investment keeps me energized. I approach each transaction as an opportunity to guide people through major life decisions and build meaningful connections.
To do this well, I stay genuinely connected with my clients and listen closely to their needs. Integrity and a strong work ethic are crucial, they help me build trust and ensure that every step of the process is handled with care. I love being there for my clients, doing the right thing requires a lot of dedication and that’s what makes this job so rewarding for me.
We’ve got some really exciting things coming up at Riano Real Estate, but I’m not quite ready to spill the details yet. I’ll have more to share in about a month. For now, we’re hard at work turning our vision into reality and helping others reach their goals along the way.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
For those just starting out , Looking back, the three qualities that made the biggest difference in my life are
1. believe in yourself wholeheartedly.
2. Build real connections with people
3. never stop learning.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
Two books that have significantly influenced my development are “The Sell” by Fredrik Eklund and “Ninja Selling”by Larry Kendall.
“The Sell” taught me the importance of authenticity and building genuine relationships in real estate. Fredrik’s emphasis on being yourself has helped me connect with clients and build trust, which is crucial in this industry.
“Ninja Selling”provided me with a structured approach to sales focused on service rather than just closing deals. The book’s idea of “flow” and the impact of small, consistent actions have been key in creating a sustainable, client-focused business that thrives on long-term relationships.
Both books have shaped how I approach my work and view success in real estate.
