Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Karolina Aguilar. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Karolina, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
Oh, my optimism? It’s probably just a mix of seeing potential in everything and a natural tendency to focus on the good stuff. I guess it’s all about looking at challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, rather than obstacles. Plus, there’s always something positive to find, even in tough situations. It just feels better to keep the vibes up. How about you? Do you consider yourself an optimist too?
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
So, I’m all about making people’s big moments feel extra special—whether that’s through creating a dreamy picnic, setting the stage for a proposal, or decking out a space with some epic balloon decor. Honestly, I love being a part of people’s memories in this way. It’s not just about the details (though, trust me, I love getting the details right), it’s about creating an experience that feels uniquely theirs. It’s exciting to watch people’s reactions when they see their vision come to life. There’s something magical about being a part of that!
Right now, I’m super focused on proposal setups, helping people make that “yes” moment unforgettable. But I’m also planning to bring in some fresh new ideas for birthdays and other celebrations soon, so keep an eye out for that! If you’re planning something and want it to have that extra sparkle, hit me up. Would love to help make it happen!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, I’d say creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability were the key qualities that really shaped my journey. Creativity helped me come up with unique setups, attention to detail made sure everything felt perfect, and adaptability allowed me to roll with the unexpected. My advice for anyone just starting out is to keep experimenting and learning—don’t be afraid to think outside the box, always focus on those small details that make a big difference, and stay flexible when things don’t go as planned. And don’t worry about your competition; I know there will be bad people along the way who don’t want to see you grow, and will do everything to create obstacles or even try to follow your steps, but in a negative way. Focus on yourself, your business, the people who support you, and God. It’s all about learning, growing, and trusting the process as you go!
Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
In the past year, I’ve grown a lot in how I **connect with clients** really tuning into their vision and what they want the experience to feel like. I’ve also gotten better at **time management**, balancing more projects without losing quality. It’s been a big confidence boost, and I’m excited to keep improving!
