Meet Karolina Khris

We were lucky to catch up with Karolina Khris recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Karolina with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My work ethic is directly linked to my upbringing! Not only did I have a reliant mother, raising me on her own, and never taking no for an answer only showed me how to fight for what I want. She kept 2-3 jobs along with my hard working aunts and uncles. My grandparents on both sides of my family owned businesses, and worked day jobs were they managed employees so seeing this directly impacted the way I see not only the work force. It also impacts my creative pursuits.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
In my musical odyssey, adaptability is my compass—navigating the ever-changing landscapes of genres and sounds. I stay open to fresh rhythms, evolving with the heartbeat of the industry. Curiosity fuels my artistry; I explore diverse influences, instruments, and production realms, weaving a rich tapestry of sound.

Resilience, my constant companion, propels me through the challenges of the music realm. Each setback is a note in the symphony of growth, refining my craft with every discordant chord. As an emerging artist, I’m on a learning journey, building a diverse palette that resonates with authenticity.

I connect with mentors, seeking wisdom from those who’ve composed their own musical narratives. Small victories, the sweetest melodies, are celebrated along the way. My journey is a continuous composition—an unwritten symphony of passion, innovation, and an insatiable hunger for musical exploration. In this ever-changing rhythm of life, I embrace each note with unwavering passion.

Absolutely, I’m always open to collaborations that transcend boundaries and genres. I’m on the lookout for innovative producers, talented musicians, and creatives who share a passion for pushing the boundaries of sound, fashion, technology, etc.
